That´s great with that camera! I use the C220 for landscape with Infrared SFX and R 72 Filter. that´s a big adavantage with a TLR , you can keep on the dark filter, while you focus through the twinlens.

Great video! I liked it! Your photos are great. I printed darker, stronger. Your way is also good. Back out! No wonder, that Mamiya is heavy! I used them mostly in a studio. Get a wide strap esp. around your neck and on your shoulders. A spongy type! I noticed lots of light readings. The light was constant. 120 film expensive (12 exp) but 35mm will teach You more! Shoot a few photos in normal light, a 400 ISO. Set ISO at say 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and maybe 1600.Make a small print of each! You will learn all about exposure and the tolerances Film has. All will be printable!! Maybe use yellow and orange filters? Best of luck. I am retired but you can contact me, if you wish. I'm 78 so Mamiya is long gone! Enjoy! Bravo.

Hallo Lilly bin erst jetzt über Dein Video „gestolpert“ da ich selbst eine Mamiya C220 mein Eigen nennen darf. Die Kamera wurde in 2023 angeschafft und hat schon einige Rollen verarbeitet. In Südtirol wurden dabei wunderschöne Aufnahmen in den Dolomiten geschossen. Qualitativ ist die Kamera echt der Hammer. Dein Video ist nochmals eine Quelle der Inspiration. Deine ruhige Art und die entspannte Musik im Hintergrund gefallen mir sehr gut. Dir weiterhin alles erdenklich Gute.

Ah nice, that’s definitely the most versatile option. I keep thinking about getting a wider lens for it too, but importing stuff from Japan is always such a headache. Last couple times I tried I immediately got a refund because the Japanese post wasn’t shipping to Europe for a while. I’m sure photographing the manual way will come back to you quickly! A light meter helps by the way! I use an actual light meter most of the time, but you can get apps on your phone that are almost as accurate!

I’m looking forward to a different way of taking photos: always wanted a 6x6 camera but could never afford Hasselblad! I have been very fortunate buying things from Japan, with no real issues. Ah, nice! I the Weston V is a selenium meter right? The problem with selenium is that it wears out if exposed to light, so keeping it in the box helps. Definitely check it against your Nikon or against one of those phone apps 😀 I have a selenium meter too, but it’s wildly inaccurate, so I got a Gossen Digisix after a while. Very nice meter and it works well at night too. Definitely nice for long exposures at night. Funnily I never wanted a Hasselblad. The shutter is too loud for my liking. I prefer the leaf shutters that are common in the TLRs! My quietest is my Rollei. The Mamiya is a bit louder, but not by much!

Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes of this project. I loved the pictures you took with the c220 ! (loved the 11:08 with the straight lines of the cliff and round shapes of the boulders !!! Epic) I enjoyed how you edited this video, it felt very fluid, and i find it hard to do that with gopro footage that sometimes get dizzy.
Thank you Clara! I’m so glad you enjoyed my video and that picture is also one of my favourites! Very happy with how these worked out in the end! As for GoPro editing, yes, you’re so right, half the GoPro POV videos I can’t even watch because they make me dizzy after a couple of minutes. The trick is to edit out most of the turns and intersperse the walking shots with longer static shots. That way there is enough rest for the eyes so that it doesn’t trigger the motion sickness. Since I suffer from easily triggered motion sickness myself I’m quite attuned to it now. It just needs a bit of practice! Oh, and most importantly, you need a GoPro with the good stabilisation, at least GoPro Hero 7 Black. That’s what I use. Anything older is definitely unwatchable for me!

The 6x9 shots are the toughest on the wallet because you get so few shots per roll, but I wouldn't trade the experience and output for anything (other than maybe a scanner with enough resolution to make the most of it!) My next goal: 4x5 and more videos on my channel. I've been inconsistent.
Oh, you have experience with 110? Tell me more, how do you scan them? I just won an auction on a 110 camera that I mainly wanted for the lenses, but now I’m obviously intrigued to try the new format too! 4x5 is lovely, but it’s hefty on the wallet, that’s for sure. I keep eyeing a pack of colour slide 4x5 and then reason prevails and I shoot some Foma 100 instead 🤣

1000 rolls of film - wow, that is quite something! How do you store and archive that amount of negatives? I was so proud when I cracked the 100 some good while ago, still a lot to go for 1000 though. I really look forward to every video you upload and am glad to hear that making videos will be possible again now with your new computer. :)
It’s so much, kinda crazy! I actually store the negatives in Printfile negative sleeves and put those into Adox ring binders. All labelled so that I can find each negative quickly! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my videos, that’s really nice to hear! And I’m also really glad I can finally start making videos again with the computer being sorted! I’ve definitely missed it! Lots of stuff to come!
Oh, you’re not using your c330? That’s a shame, those are great cameras! The C220 is a touch lighter than the C330, but still very similar. I love this camera, it’s so special for me! 😀
A lovely video, it brought back so many fond memories. I actually handled the Mamiyaflex when our friend first bought it, and in comparison with the Minolta Autocord it replaced it was huge! I'm not sure if you know the history of the camera, it was purchased with an Arts Council grant and used for our friend's biggest and most successful exhibition! It's so nice to see it in such capable hands as yours! xx
Wow, I didn’t know it was bought with grant money, that’s amazing! I really love this camera so much and the history of the camera makes it even more special. I do know that cliffs and boulders became a favourite subject after their move to Cornwall, so it felt doubly right to go shoot these cliff formations with it! I’m so glad that the video brought back nice memories for you. I just wish our friend could have seen the video. That’s what I hoped when I planned the video originally. And then Corona happened and I couldn’t get hold of the chemicals 😔 But well, the both of them live on in our memories! She was such a kind soul. And I just know she would have liked this video because of all the dogs in it 🐶 xx
Oh, that’s so nice! Seems like it was just the right day for it! Interestingly the only Nikkor lens I have here is an enlarger lens. I randomly ended up on the Canon side of things with digital and still use those lenses for video. Although the talking bits in this one were shot on a manual Pentax K mount lens! I always prefer manual lenses in the end.
Oh, that’s interesting! I shot more than 500 in mine since 2014. It’s definitely one reason why I ended up reaching 1K rolls so quickly. That film forwarding lever just feels so satisfying 😉

i know this is a bit of a too late but i have the same camera which i really love yet it's a struggle finding a strap with those funny knobs that actually arent even the same sizeof the RB nor the hassleblad so if you can help with that id be more than greatful !!!

Well, I would keep them none the wiser if I were you :D :P Though, I do know how old you are, from your website, and I still have quite a few years on you :D I love your illustrations!! You should do some work with kid's books or something similar.
Now you’ve got me intrigued. Where do I have my age on my website, I must expunge all evidence 😂 and thank you, I’m glad you like my illustrations too! I’ve been offered jobs doing children’s book illustrations, but there wasn’t the right story yet! I’m working out my own story for a comic at the moment and that’s what that particular style is meant for in the end!
You should be careful about mentioning how old you were in certain years in your projects :D :P Very easy to workout things from there :D I hope you manage to finish your comic and get it published. That would be really great!! Keep at it with the children's books. You never know when a job opp' might come up that's a good one!
Ah, true, you can work it out from one project! That’s ok though, I really don’t mind 😂 The comic is one of the many projects that need to get finished eventually! Probably going to take a while still, because I still need to work out some technical issues and have at least a couple other big projects to finish off first. The project you mentioned for example needs a whole lot of darkroom printing still! The children’s book thing is not a priority for the same reason. So many other things to do first!
What Lens is on your C220? It looks like the 65mm? I have a C220 and C2 with the 65mm (blue dot), 80mm f/2.8 S, 105mm S. Im thinking of also getting the 135mm. They are great very reliable cameras!
They are indeed such reliable cameras! I have the 80 f/2.8 S on there. I have tried a couple times to import a 65mm from Japan, but the last time I got an immediate refund because Japan post wasn’t sending to Spain anymore! One day I hope I get my hands on that one!
@@LillySchwartz Allot of the 65mm lenses I see on eBay from Japanese dealers, for some reason have haze in the rear elements. But with a spanner wrench, the rear elements come out fairly easy for cleaning. Mine came from an American seller, it didnt have haze, just a little dust, so I took the rear and front elements out and cleaned them. Awhile back I collected allot of 1960s East German Zeiss Jena lenses, and taught myself how take vintage lenses apart and CLA them.
That’s good to know that they’re easy to clean. I taught myself how to do that as well! I got an enlarger lens relatively cheaply because some bug had died in it. Opened it up, cleaned it and paid barely half of what I would have normally. I generally don’t buy stuff that comes with haze in the description though, because a lot of people can’t tell haze from fungus and every single lens with fungus I cleaned out was damaged by the fungus!
It is definitely a good allrounder. There is some parallax obviously, but that normally only matters if you get closer than you would during a portrait shoot.

You're welcome, Bill. The light meter I'm using is a Gossen Digiflash. I've had it for years, holds up really well. Only downside is that it doesn't have an off switch, so it runs through the battery while you're not using it. Still lasts a few months though, so not too annoying. Have fun with your new camera! :D
Awesome, thanks for that Lilly. I’m using a light meter app on my phone but getting my phone out of my pocket and opening the app is a bit awkward when I need my hands to hold the camera!
I would suggest to use a strap with the Mamiya. I hang the light meter around my neck too, but you still have to have a hand free to point the thing and press the button. With a camera as heavy as the Mamiya that could easily become a balancing act!

That’s easy to fix! Put it on multi instead of single and take your shot. Just don’t forget to reset it afterwards or you might fill up the rest of the roll with multiple exposures 😅
@jrmorganpetro yes, I think so. I only have one lens so I’ve never changed lens mid roll. But if you’re unsure, you can fire it with the cap on to test, since it’s on multi anyway for the first shot.
I shot my 1000th roll with the Mamiya. My main cameras are the Leica and the Rolleicord, so most of those 1000 rolls were those cameras with the occasional other adventure sprinkled in as well.
Haha, you actually did the math! That’s awesome! As long as you don’t do the money math it’s all fine 🤣 I think one year I might have shot almost a roll a day though and other years much less.

Hah, it’s between 3-15€ a roll, so expensive enough and then there is the camera GAS too! Go me for having multiple way too expensive pursuits 🤦♀️🤣 That’s why I have to go with DIY or cheapo clones for the pedals 🤣
In my experience if all else fails eBaying directly from China is the way to go. Usually takes a while, but it’s the cheapest option. Only problem is that I forget why I ordered certain parts when they show up two months later 😂

I also don’t know exactly how much I shot in my childhood and my teens. It was a lot, I remember my dad complaining about the amount of film I was shooting 😂 I do have a tad obsessive Excel sheet to keep track of everything I shot since 2012 though so I can actually tell you which lens, camera, film and dev I used for each roll! Not sure whether I should be proud or embarrassed 🤣
No, meticulous. That's what you are :D With a record like that, you'll always get consistent results by knowing what camera works well with what film and developer combo. At least in theory!! 1000 rolls of film is a lot of film!!! That's tens of thousands of dollars worth, let alone the cost of developer, etc.
Yes I definitely have the process down by now, very consistent results no matter which film I’m shooting. Keeping a good record definitely helped to figure out the best development times and so on. Most of the film I shot was on the cheaper end of the spectrum though and I use a rotary processor so I get like 120+ rolls out of a bottle of HC110. Dev cost definitely isn’t something I think about much. And yes, film is expensive, but since my cameras don’t get obsolete like with digital, I think I might actually still be ahead? Some of my friends dump several thousands into cameras that are outdated after 2 years 😬 I prefer the consistency I get from shooting the same cameras and emulsions for many years!
Wow, that's not bad going for a bottle of HC110!!! I've just got back into using film in the last couple of years and it's going to be a very long time before I even get to 500 rolls, let alone 1000!!! Film can be expensive, but there are some cheap ones around. Gets expensive when you shoot in large format. B&W film isn't too bad but colour can be a pain in the wallet!!! I also shoot digital and I know what you mean about cameras going out of style quickly. I tend to stick with the equipment I have, which is nowhere near the cutting edge, but that suits me fine. I get out of it what I want and whilst I would love to own the new big Fuji medium format camera, it's out of the question as far as money goes.
Yes, rotary development and stand development are both very economical and that’s how I use HC110 mostly. Definitely saves a bit of money! A lot of the film I shot was bulk rolled cheap film, like Kentmere 400 or RPX 400, or motion picture short ends and I also have a whole stash of very cheap drugstore colour film in the freezer that I keep around for travelling (uh, like that’s still happening 😬). I shoot stuff like Foma in my 4x5, so I guess I’m always a little price conscious. Only now that I have practically stopped shooting street do I allow myself more of my favourite HP5+ because I waste much less film. Street photography just depends a lot on serendipity, so I shoot fewer rolls now that I shoot more landscapes again! As for that new Fuji MF: I don’t really think digital cameras are a great investment yet. They are kinda reaching end of development now for FF models without video, but there is just so much happening still with video that they keep becoming outdated before I make any kind of purchasing the decision!

Great video! I liked it! Your photos are great. I printed darker, stronger. Your way is also good. Back out! No wonder, that Mamiya is heavy! I used them mostly in a studio. Get a wide strap esp. around your neck and on your shoulders. A spongy type! I noticed lots of light readings. The light was constant. 120 film expensive (12 exp) but 35mm will teach You more! Shoot a few photos in normal light, a 400 ISO. Set ISO at say 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and maybe 1600.Make a small print of each! You will learn all about exposure and the tolerances Film has. All will be printable!!
Maybe use yellow and orange filters? Best of luck. I am retired but you can contact me, if you wish. I'm 78 so Mamiya is long gone! Enjoy! Bravo.

Hallo Lilly bin erst jetzt über Dein Video „gestolpert“ da ich selbst eine Mamiya C220 mein Eigen nennen darf. Die Kamera wurde in 2023 angeschafft und hat schon einige Rollen verarbeitet. In Südtirol wurden dabei wunderschöne Aufnahmen in den Dolomiten geschossen. Qualitativ ist die Kamera echt der Hammer. Dein Video ist nochmals eine Quelle der Inspiration. Deine ruhige Art und die entspannte Musik im Hintergrund gefallen mir sehr gut. Dir weiterhin alles erdenklich Gute.

Ah nice, that’s definitely the most versatile option. I keep thinking about getting a wider lens for it too, but importing stuff from Japan is always such a headache. Last couple times I tried I immediately got a refund because the Japanese post wasn’t shipping to Europe for a while.
I’m sure photographing the manual way will come back to you quickly! A light meter helps by the way! I use an actual light meter most of the time, but you can get apps on your phone that are almost as accurate!

Ah, nice! I the Weston V is a selenium meter right? The problem with selenium is that it wears out if exposed to light, so keeping it in the box helps. Definitely check it against your Nikon or against one of those phone apps 😀 I have a selenium meter too, but it’s wildly inaccurate, so I got a Gossen Digisix after a while. Very nice meter and it works well at night too. Definitely nice for long exposures at night.
Funnily I never wanted a Hasselblad. The shutter is too loud for my liking. I prefer the leaf shutters that are common in the TLRs! My quietest is my Rollei. The Mamiya is a bit louder, but not by much!

I enjoyed how you edited this video, it felt very fluid, and i find it hard to do that with gopro footage that sometimes get dizzy.

As for GoPro editing, yes, you’re so right, half the GoPro POV videos I can’t even watch because they make me dizzy after a couple of minutes. The trick is to edit out most of the turns and intersperse the walking shots with longer static shots. That way there is enough rest for the eyes so that it doesn’t trigger the motion sickness. Since I suffer from easily triggered motion sickness myself I’m quite attuned to it now. It just needs a bit of practice! Oh, and most importantly, you need a GoPro with the good stabilisation, at least GoPro Hero 7 Black. That’s what I use. Anything older is definitely unwatchable for me!

@@LillySchwartz thanks! And those include 110, 645, and 6x9. The 6x9 shots are the toughest on the wallet because you get so few shots per roll, but I wouldn't trade the experience and output for anything (other than maybe a scanner with enough resolution to make the most of it!)

4x5 is lovely, but it’s hefty on the wallet, that’s for sure. I keep eyeing a pack of colour slide 4x5 and then reason prevails and I shoot some Foma 100 instead 🤣

I had really hoped that my friend would get to see the video, but 2020 sadly made it impossible. I’d like to think that she would have enjoyed it, because of all the dogs in it, she just loved dogs. And her husband would have enjoyed to photograph these cliffs too. I guess this video has been my way of saying goodbye too.

1000 rolls of film - wow, that is quite something! How do you store and archive that amount of negatives? I was so proud when I cracked the 100 some good while ago, still a lot to go for 1000 though. I really look forward to every video you upload and am glad to hear that making videos will be possible again now with your new computer. :)
It’s so much, kinda crazy! I actually store the negatives in Printfile negative sleeves and put those into Adox ring binders. All labelled so that I can find each negative quickly!

Oh, you’re not using your c330? That’s a shame, those are great cameras! The C220 is a touch lighter than the C330, but still very similar. I love this camera, it’s so special for me! 😀
A lovely video, it brought back so many fond memories. I actually handled the Mamiyaflex when our friend first bought it, and in comparison with the Minolta Autocord it replaced it was huge! I'm not sure if you know the history of the camera, it was purchased with an Arts Council grant and used for our friend's biggest and most successful exhibition! It's so nice to see it in such capable hands as yours! xx
Wow, I didn’t know it was bought with grant money, that’s amazing! I really love this camera so much and the history of the camera makes it even more special. I do know that cliffs and boulders became a favourite subject after their move to Cornwall, so it felt doubly right to go shoot these cliff formations with it! I’m so glad that the video brought back nice memories for you. I just wish our friend could have seen the video. That’s what I hoped when I planned the video originally. And then Corona happened and I couldn’t get hold of the chemicals 😔 But well, the both of them live on in our memories! She was such a kind soul. And I just know she would have liked this video because of all the dogs in it 🐶 xx

Oh, that’s so nice! Seems like it was just the right day for it! Interestingly the only Nikkor lens I have here is an enlarger lens. I randomly ended up on the Canon side of things with digital and still use those lenses for video. Although the talking bits in this one were shot on a manual Pentax K mount lens! I always prefer manual lenses in the end.
Found a Tweet from 2019 where I counted how many roll I shot in the Leica M6 (bought in 2012). The total was only 119.
Oh, that’s interesting! I shot more than 500 in mine since 2014. It’s definitely one reason why I ended up reaching 1K rolls so quickly. That film forwarding lever just feels so satisfying 😉

Now you’ve got me intrigued. Where do I have my age on my website, I must expunge all evidence 😂 and thank you, I’m glad you like my illustrations too! I’ve been offered jobs doing children’s book illustrations, but there wasn’t the right story yet! I’m working out my own story for a comic at the moment and that’s what that particular style is meant for in the end!
You should be careful about mentioning how old you were in certain years in your projects :D :P Very easy to workout things from there :D I hope you manage to finish your comic and get it published. That would be really great!! Keep at it with the children's books. You never know when a job opp' might come up that's a good one!

The comic is one of the many projects that need to get finished eventually! Probably going to take a while still, because I still need to work out some technical issues and have at least a couple other big projects to finish off first. The project you mentioned for example needs a whole lot of darkroom printing still! The children’s book thing is not a priority for the same reason. So many other things to do first!
What Lens is on your C220? It looks like the 65mm? I have a C220 and C2 with the 65mm (blue dot), 80mm f/2.8 S, 105mm S. Im thinking of also getting the 135mm. They are great very reliable cameras!
They are indeed such reliable cameras! I have the 80 f/2.8 S on there. I have tried a couple times to import a 65mm from Japan, but the last time I got an immediate refund because Japan post wasn’t sending to Spain anymore! One day I hope I get my hands on that one!
@@LillySchwartz Allot of the 65mm lenses I see on eBay from Japanese dealers, for some reason have haze in the rear elements. But with a spanner wrench, the rear elements come out fairly easy for cleaning. Mine came from an American seller, it didnt have haze, just a little dust, so I took the rear and front elements out and cleaned them. Awhile back I collected allot of 1960s East German Zeiss Jena lenses, and taught myself how take vintage lenses apart and CLA them.
That’s good to know that they’re easy to clean. I taught myself how to do that as well! I got an enlarger lens relatively cheaply because some bug had died in it. Opened it up, cleaned it and paid barely half of what I would have normally. I generally don’t buy stuff that comes with haze in the description though, because a lot of people can’t tell haze from fungus and every single lens with fungus I cleaned out was damaged by the fungus!
For portrait Is good ?in Italy Is very expensive...500eur for mamiya c330....i would but only in japan
It is definitely a good allrounder. There is some parallax obviously, but that normally only matters if you get closer than you would during a portrait shoot.

You're welcome, Bill. The light meter I'm using is a Gossen Digiflash. I've had it for years, holds up really well. Only downside is that it doesn't have an off switch, so it runs through the battery while you're not using it. Still lasts a few months though, so not too annoying. Have fun with your new camera! :D
Awesome, thanks for that Lilly. I’m using a light meter app on my phone but getting my phone out of my pocket and opening the app is a bit awkward when I need my hands to hold the camera!
I would suggest to use a strap with the Mamiya. I hang the light meter around my neck too, but you still have to have a hand free to point the thing and press the button. With a camera as heavy as the Mamiya that could easily become a balancing act!

That’s easy to fix! Put it on multi instead of single and take your shot. Just don’t forget to reset it afterwards or you might fill up the rest of the roll with multiple exposures 😅
So once the lens is in and I switch to unlock, I would then have to switch to multi. Take the first shot the switch to single for the remaining shots?
@jrmorganpetro yes, I think so. I only have one lens so I’ve never changed lens mid roll. But if you’re unsure, you can fire it with the cap on to test, since it’s on multi anyway for the first shot.
Did you shoot 1000 rolls of film with the Mamiya or did you shoot your 1000th roll of film using the Mamiya?
I shot my 1000th roll with the Mamiya. My main cameras are the Leica and the Rolleicord, so most of those 1000 rolls were those cameras with the occasional other adventure sprinkled in as well.
1 roll of film every 3 days for 8 years. Not bad. ^^

Hah, it’s between 3-15€ a roll, so expensive enough and then there is the camera GAS too! Go me for having multiple way too expensive pursuits 🤦♀️🤣 That’s why I have to go with DIY or cheapo clones for the pedals 🤣

In my experience if all else fails eBaying directly from China is the way to go. Usually takes a while, but it’s the cheapest option. Only problem is that I forget why I ordered certain parts when they show up two months later 😂

Haha, I know, it’s a lot! I used to shoot a lot of street before the pandemic though and that wastes film like crazy because it’s so dependent on serendipity! 😉 The next thousand are probably going to take a lot longer now that I have to stay away from people 😅

I've lost track the amount of film I've shot over the past 22+ years.
I also don’t know exactly how much I shot in my childhood and my teens. It was a lot, I remember my dad complaining about the amount of film I was shooting 😂
I do have a tad obsessive Excel sheet to keep track of everything I shot since 2012 though so I can actually tell you which lens, camera, film and dev I used for each roll! Not sure whether I should be proud or embarrassed 🤣
No, meticulous. That's what you are :D With a record like that, you'll always get consistent results by knowing what camera works well with what film and developer combo. At least in theory!! 1000 rolls of film is a lot of film!!! That's tens of thousands of dollars worth, let alone the cost of developer, etc.
Yes I definitely have the process down by now, very consistent results no matter which film I’m shooting. Keeping a good record definitely helped to figure out the best development times and so on. Most of the film I shot was on the cheaper end of the spectrum though and I use a rotary processor so I get like 120+ rolls out of a bottle of HC110. Dev cost definitely isn’t something I think about much. And yes, film is expensive, but since my cameras don’t get obsolete like with digital, I think I might actually still be ahead? Some of my friends dump several thousands into cameras that are outdated after 2 years 😬 I prefer the consistency I get from shooting the same cameras and emulsions for many years!
Wow, that's not bad going for a bottle of HC110!!! I've just got back into using film in the last couple of years and it's going to be a very long time before I even get to 500 rolls, let alone 1000!!! Film can be expensive, but there are some cheap ones around. Gets expensive when you shoot in large format. B&W film isn't too bad but colour can be a pain in the wallet!!! I also shoot digital and I know what you mean about cameras going out of style quickly. I tend to stick with the equipment I have, which is nowhere near the cutting edge, but that suits me fine. I get out of it what I want and whilst I would love to own the new big Fuji medium format camera, it's out of the question as far as money goes.
Yes, rotary development and stand development are both very economical and that’s how I use HC110 mostly. Definitely saves a bit of money! A lot of the film I shot was bulk rolled cheap film, like Kentmere 400 or RPX 400, or motion picture short ends and I also have a whole stash of very cheap drugstore colour film in the freezer that I keep around for travelling (uh, like that’s still happening 😬). I shoot stuff like Foma in my 4x5, so I guess I’m always a little price conscious. Only now that I have practically stopped shooting street do I allow myself more of my favourite HP5+ because I waste much less film. Street photography just depends a lot on serendipity, so I shoot fewer rolls now that I shoot more landscapes again! As for that new Fuji MF: I don’t really think digital cameras are a great investment yet. They are kinda reaching end of development now for FF models without video, but there is just so much happening still with video that they keep becoming outdated before I make any kind of purchasing the decision!
