    ironically Holyfield really complimented Foremans punching power, he said he felt his teeth broke when he took a punch from Foreman, and this was a guy who has been in there with noted punchers like Tyson

      Incredible that his chin seemed dto get better with age. After his comeback, he was never dropped.
      Cooney, Cooper, Morrison, Moorer, Holyfield, Briggs, etc.
      Couldn't put him down.

    Foreman is so humble and real. Fact is both men have a tremendous chin. Keep in mind of Foreman's age at the time he fought Holyfield and went to distance with him in Holyfield's prime. Holyfield said Foreman hit so hard that he thought Foreman knocked all his teeth out.

    Holyfield was my favorite fighter to watch back in the day. He fought all the top fighters and he gave you your moneys worth win or lose. He never trashed talked. He let his fighting do the talking.Great fighter one of the best ever.

    It was a interesting fight. Holyfield took those punches like a champ and even threw some massive bombs at Foreman and didn’t even looked bothered. Holyfield looked pissed too lol.
    No wonder Mike Tyson lost to him.

      Makes you wonder how so many people think tyson is the heavyweight goat when holyfield had an easier time finishing 32 yo tyson off than a 42 year old foreman. And holyfield was 5 years younger when he fought foreman too.

    Foreman is one of the people who went through crazy battles, and still talks normally. He is a different level of tough. Taking shots and not having speech problems later in life.

    George has the best chin in the sports. He was down only once in his whole career and he had plenty of fights in his 40s.

      More than once, but yes. Ali, he wasn't hurt so much as tired. Lyle..ok yes, and Lyle is known to be one of the hardest punchers of all time. And Jimmy Young, if you watch the footage, he stumbled over his own feet. He was never down in his second career however. He has said in interviews this was largely because he was a lot more relaxed in the ring which helped him to absorb and roll better with the punches.

      ​@@luckybarnes7576, I hate to tell you this but Holyfield was on steroids for years. He had them delivered to a house down the road under the name Even Fields (not very clever). The FBI called the phone number on that steroid package and wouldn't you know it, Holyfield picked up. This is all documented. Just like in Baseball, many HWs were juiced in the 90's. Actually, they've been joined ever since. It broke my heart when I read the FBI report. It explains his recouperative abilities. If you get caught taking steroids, you shouldn't be allowed in the International or Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. Dude, he gained 18 pounds in 3 weeks when he was fighting. That's not possible. Shit, I don't know how it's possible on steroids, but alas, he did it.

    Holyfield was definitely THE REAL DEAL he was fearless in the ring , ask Tyson . He would throw some serious leather against any opponent . In return he ended up eating a lot of leather . A TRUE CHAMPION !

    Foreman was kind of full of himself when he was younger but After Ali beat him George changed. He became very humble. Foreman and Holyfield both had good chins 👍👍

    Holyfield was definitely a monster in the ring. When you put two warriors like Foreman, and Holyfield together in the ring, there is nothing like it. Both guys had the same mentality, and the same dog inside them, just different physiques, and styles.

    I really dig hearing him talk. He’s humble, eloquent and a good story teller, but i recon Tyson as he’s gotten older is incredible to hear him tell stories but also philosophise on life in general, when we were young we only saw the incredible beast he was in the ring, you heard him talk abit but not like the access we have with him a d others today.     I can't imagine how the top boxers of that time felt. They were fighting quietly among themselves and then a demon, a nightmare from the past came to take what belongs to him. And only Morrison and Holyfield were able to defend the honor of their generation.
