- This week, Jason is joined by one of Bravo’s newest and most beloved cast members on the new hit show Southern Charm, Olivia Flowers!
Olivia became well known after joining Southern Charm’s cast in 2022 before season eight of the show. However, prior to that, Olivia actually started out in a career working behind the scenes of Hollywood as a production assistant for various TV shows and shorts. Olivia has made the most of her time on the show becoming a fan favorite in such a short period of time too. However, it has not been easy for her having gone through a very public breakup and the unexpected loss of her brother last year.
Olivia gives insight to how she has been enjoying the major change within the last two years of her career, the reality of coming to LA and romanticizing the idea of acting, how her parents supported her, the importance of enjoying the process of working through each stage of your career, moving to Atlanta and getting more auditions, the different roles she works in the television industry, and how acting has taught her how to control her emotions and not be impulsive in moments. Olivia also reveals the difference between scripted and unscripted TV, how she ended up on Southern Charm, how she would like to expand on her interests, how setbacks can lead to fueling progress and an impact on others, advocating for therapy, how to manage money in relationships, and her best advice for branding yourself. I really feel for ya girl! I lost my only sibling/ brother when I was in high school & know now i shoulda gone to therapy also! No one really understands how difficult it is unless you've gone thru it! It's so soo terrible & I have to admit bcuz I didn't talk thru it I couldn't talk bout it w.out breaking down for like 10 yrs! I tried to go back to work 2 weeks later & couldn't. Given its a much different situation w. Filming a reality show! I truly admire ur strength for being able to go back to that & tell ur brothers story. As well as all these interviews! Cuz trust me, I can feel that emotion as soon as he's brought up. I know exactly what that's like. Much love & strength for ur family hun❤💪💔🫶
Olivia could be the Cameron of Southern Charm. I loved Cameron and worried when she left that the show would cancel but I think as long as Shep, Craig and Whitney and his mom stay on that it can survive. Olivia is so pretty and down to earth.
Oh heck no. Cameron was fun and had a great personality. I have never seen ANY kind of bubbly or funny out of her.
She is not down to earth at all. Just some obnoxious rich daddy’s girl with too much filler and Botox

I like her, but I think she tries too hard to try and answer what she thinks is the right answer. She is awkward in a way and it seemed so difficult for her to answer questions. Jason does a great job though.

I have to say grieving a breakup & losing an immediate family member is not the same..not to say thats what was said! but if ya know, ya unfortunately know that they can't nor shouldn't be comparable. Everyone does grieve differently. It's just alot. But the finality of death is the worst thing ppl can ever go thru💔🫶

The money portion at the end seemed so awkward- im in the same boat that we should talk about money and it absolutely would help compensation- but knowing who is or is not comfortable talking about it and not forcing it is still so important. It went from asking one money question to all these others even about number amount goals. If she was any more descriptive she’d be gossip in her town - this didn’t feel like a productive convo with vague answers because it didn’t feel like it was expected as a viewer and not getting real honest about those questions doesn’t really help viewers gain much either. Idk it felt weird lol

She has this weird head twitch thing that distracts viewers. IDK how she landed on SC - but did she even date Austen exclusively? She just comes across as odd.
