    Thanks so much, for uploading this magnificent video of Dr. Eric Kandel. Listening to him explaining his findings about how memory is stored in neurons was really exciting.

    Memory can be an inquisitive problem. One who gets burned/burnt by steam will choose to change the task or continue the ritual. Although the environment might give options, it doesn't necessarily translate to a good path.

    In my opinion, reductionism is not the best methodology for understanding memory and learning. A holistic, integrative approach is much better.

    He worked with Aplesea spp. The ink fish has been studied for 40 years just because they have huge motor neurons. They were all over in Tampa bay around summer i think.

    It is ver amazing to me that only men are able to achieve a Nobel. Women only a few!! got it. 2012 century and we are still in dark times. Where is the WISDOM??

      Well as a population, more Men are interested in a career in Science then Women, so if you have a bunch of people (A) dedicated to accomplishments in Science than other people (B), then you'll naturally see more accomplishments from A than B
