I think unfortunately Ekler showed a little payback mentality on the field where I think he did some things to intentionally cause some issues. It was obvious a few times he was running at half speed and he dropped the ball dramatically which he never does and a few other specific instances. Of course they misused him so badly so anyone would be pissed about this but he should have just left the organization a year earlier in my opinion.

    • @zeric_

hard to imagine he did this intentionally. His contract had incentives for him to perform and reach X goal. For each goal he reached it would be a bonus 500k to 1M.

Ek was an undrafted free agent and earned his spot and proved he belonged every year. He hurt himself with his attitude going into last year and how he played. Injury? Drop off? Doesn’t matter. Aging running backs can’t afford a down year going into free agency. The referring to himself in the third person is weird also.

  • @JuanCarlos-sy7np
    @JuanCarlos-sy7np 2 місяці тому

Ekler was definitely a baller for a couple of seasons, realistically he is a bad running back, he’s never rushed the ball efficiently and effectively and he allowed greed to get the best of him, because he holds himself highly. But compared to other running backs, he’s never had a crazy rushing season, he was a touchdown machine for sure but he couldn’t even pick up a couple of 1 yards runs when we needed it, he played with the payback mentality, and he’s a running back, you’re going to get paid based on what you’re suppose to do. 300 times a year? As a running back isn’t what you do? Nah that’s a bad mentality.

Like he could actually even hold onto the football, he's going to sink in washington.

Ekeler had a couple of good years and then completely fell off.

Glad he's gone. Yes he had a couple of good years for us. He definitely wouldn't fit in the scheme that Jim wants. Not to mention he sold out last yr. He literally tanked and thought he'd get a bag this yr. NOT!

There's a lot of hate in these comments. Y'all can't even play pick-up ball at a gym. Our fans are so soft. smh

Ekeler hate is warranted though. he was acting arrogant and blaming at the one player who kept the Chargers a relevant team

@@ernestogastelum9123 He was the only offense for so many weeks when others got hurt. How quick y’all forget. Plus, it’s arrogant to tell the truth? Him and Herbert were the only offense we had. Hating another grown man shows that you and the rest of the fan base are children. Hating a millionaire is crazy.

Thank you bro ppl looking like fairweather fans in here, Ek gave us so much but yes he was flawed and yes it was time to move on but we gotta stop acting like we put him in some incredible situation that man was like a 3rd of the offense for two years, we never got a consistent RB2 and we never really sorted the o-line, you damn straight he asked for more money but he kinda old so you damn right we said no too, that's it don't need to be hate I Hope he does well at the commanders cuz he gave us a lot even if he's lost a step this last year

Why, Are We Even Entertaining This Crap? 🤔🤔 He's not Here On The Roster. So, Why CAN'T We Move On From OLD NEWS? Let's, See What He Does for Washington in 2024.

You said, “I’m never going to hate on a player who’s trying to get paid” but your ENTIRE video was laced with more hate than anything else.
He’s not here because of MONEY. 100% fact.
Ek would slay in this offense behind that Oline and with Greg Roman calling plays.
Who did they grab? Cheap players 🤷🏾‍♂️
Ek was being classy by saying he wasn’t a fit.

Michael Maclane calling Ekeler a liar. I believe the Chargers told Ekeler they wanted to run the ball 300 times. I think Micahael Maclane talked to nobody involved in this story and is talking out of his a$$.
