It’s like that philosophy quote, you stop the problem before it even happens. You wouldn’t have to keep “making the right subs” if you just played well from the beginning and ended the game earlier by PLAYING WELL. It’s different when you’re dominating and creating chances but the goal hasn’t come but you know you still DESERVE the win, but when you’ve played poor you’re literally just HOPING for a goal even through you know you don’t deserve it.
