Great commercial, I love the way the dude holds the spinning reel upside down. I have actually seen people fish like that, they were from Boston.
Thanks for watching!
Oh NOOO! Im a few states north of Boston and you got me wondering now. I hold the reel pointing down. Let gravity do the work, less strain on wrist from rotational force and I can control the line with my pointer.. How do you hold it? Reel facing you?
Big fan of the humor aspect.
Excited to see a new pedal drive!
Bring back the Thresher, and throw this in it. Need an ocean going rough water yak.
Will they work on our previous flex drive models such as the big rig HD fd
If it fits in previous models, I may have to buy it and a better seat for my Coosa FD. I can’t justify buying the Knarr. I’ve poured too much into my Coosa FD and Hobie Lynx. So much buyers remorse going on right now. Lol.
Yes. The FD Mark IV will fit into ANY previous Flex Drive boat.
Pretty sure you have to do the bottom unit as well, I read the top unit is not backwards compatible.
I’m gonna buy me one of these kayaks when I get that money
Looks great when do you estimate to have stock?
Already started shipping on 2022 boats. We will not be offering them as a separate purchase for a few months as we prioritize inventory on our new boats.
is it in europe yet
Liked in first 30seconds.
Sooo funny 😁 lol
Would the IV fit the 2018 coosa fd?
Yes, however you will need to swap out the entire upper and lower unit.
Combine it with a 65lb, 10’ ?
Give aliex a kayak to try out please. He’s the only one that can convince me to buy one.
Considering buying BUT you only warranty for 2 or 3 years, not much faith in your design and construction!!!! I saw a video guy tells of over 3 drive cable replacements. He and Jackson seem to be good natured about it but I just do not think much of paying $1000 plus for what might just be a 2 or 3 yr pedal drive "rental". My own uses and testing may only be going out 12 times in a year at most and I may not find out about short comings of the drive but may still find myself without warranty when it breaks and Jackson just says "well it's out of warranty now...." I want a durable lasting pedal drive system, not a rental of something that will go out of warranty and I'll be stuck!!!!!
You fell short.
Get some one who understands electric bike mid drive motors, and incorporate it into you kayak drive. Pedal assist electric. Befang motor.
Build the battery pack for long distance 1.5 mph trolling. Many amp hours of capacity. And set it up for 10mph top speed
And do not tell me I can't be done.
As electric bikes can go very fast 45 mph to 65mph
Shhh don’t give too much away! #wearejustgettingstarted
@@jacksonkayakvids a mid drive ekayak is going to explode this market. You guys will be producing drives for the whole market. Skating by with no State numbers on your boat will be a bigger deal than you might think. Lots of people are starting to see through all the government's covid lies and any product that distances people from big brother are going to sale extremely well.
