Banking means leaning into/out of a turn. You know how the tracks on rollercoasters aren't paralell with the ground when they go through turns? Yeah that's banking. It's done to reduce lateral G forces.
This might be one of the most calm videos I've ever seen of EazySpeezy. Which is understandable, because this game is awesome and I never minded playing it a hundred times over. Thought, I never beat Bowser and that is where my childhood(yay, let's play this game's beginning section a million times over) self and my modern completionist self become mortal enemies.
I find it odd that The Caged Shine is an "insane" level considering you can finish it pretty easily in less than a minute if you just go under the cage.

There is one thing I love more than those guides from Prima (Actually... I never heard of those guys at all) The fact that there was a Special edition of "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker" that came not only with an official Completion Guide from Nintendo themself, but also copies of Ocarina of Time AND Ocarina of Time: Master Quest, which at that time never was released outside of Japan, so it was special. In short: I own a Special Collectors edition of a game that would bring me literally hundreds of Dollars from Fans when I would sell it.

Honestly it was so satisfying seeing someone else fall off those mushrooms while riding the Yoshi. I used to do that all the time as a kid and get confused or angry, but seeing someone else do it I now understand it’s because the mushrooms were janky and.
Seeing this makes me wish they made more paper guides. But there's the environmentalist in me glad they don't do those anymore. Maybe...just some stickers with each game. Could be cool
A thing that has always stuck in my mind about this game is FLUDD saying Mario's name in a very disappointed voice. Whenever they give a hint they say "Mario" and the way it's said always gave me disappointed vibe so it stuck in my head xD
One thing I really don’t like about this game is that even when you rescue peach, she never returns to the Plaza in-game and the toads are forever stuck in their trance of being worried about her and she has to spend an eternity with Bowser and his son. No matter how many times toy save her, she will never return to the Plaza as an NPC, and it kinda feels like a wasted opportunity for something.
Recently bought gamecube back few months ago, been like 8 years since we had one. First few games included Sunshine of course, SANDBIRD level took longer than i like to admit, but figured it out lol. Hardest level i find is the secret of the shell in the water zone. I got halfway but keep dying. Eventually....
