New viewer. I agree the Andy Reid snowman is really cute. I recommend taking a binder with you and taking orders for itms you are either sold out of or dont have but are willing to make. You can get all the info, name, shipping address, the item they want plus any customizing you are willing to do, and then collect payment right there. At the very least, get half of the cost as a non-refundable down payment and then collect the remainder before shipping. That way, you don't have to rely on them, remembering to order later.
This is such a great idea. I have yet to get an order from the people who said they would order. Getting them to commit at the market would be much more efficient.
I LOVE doing markets. It would be fun to do another one before Christmas, but I just don’t think I would be able to recoup my inventory in time! I’m hoping to focus on personal orders til Christmas 🥰
Hi Anna! I am so glad you love them! I am extremely green at pattern writing/ publishing. I am trying to figure out how to design on Canva, and I will let you know if I get it figured out! It’s a goal 🙂 I have 4 or 5 patterns I would like to publish
@@krystallove100 Hi, yes 🙂🍄 I bought it off Etsy from Cable and Canvas. It’s the Sammy Spore pattern. It’s on sale right now, too! www.etsy.com/listing/1631834576/
Ahh thank you!! I need to try to write something up. I feel like writing the instruction for the embroidery and headset would be tedious or just difficult to explain, even though it’s not necessarily difficult to do, if that makes sense.
I would also love to buy your Andy Reid and PatChick patterns! If certain parts are hard to explain, I wonder if you could make an unlisted video on it. Other pattern designers have done that and I’ve always found the videos to be very helpful. The world needs more Andy Reid snowmen and Patrick Mahomes chickens! Help us make it happen! 😉🤣
I wish I could sell my stuff at these prices. I have my prices so low and still have a hard time selling and I’ve been crocheting for almost a dozen years. :(
@@SydneySaves5 Hi Sydney- I feel like for the time it takes me (I’m NOT a fast crocheter) I’m making like $3 an hour with my prices 😬😂. I try to price my items comparatively with like items that other crocheters are making. I also use an 8 mm hook and size 6 yarn for almost everything I make. Are you using a plush yarn or worsted weight yarn for your products? I feel like customers see size and not necessarily time when they look at a product. So although a worsted weight plushie may take the exact same time as a chenille yarn plushie, people only want to pay a fraction of the price because the product is a fraction of the size. Does that make sense?
was so excited for you when i saw the title! congrats! your hard work paid off!!!
Thank you so much, Avery!! It was such a fun day!
So, I'm not a Kansas City fan at all, but those Andy Reid snowmen and the Pat "chick" Mahomes were just ADORABLE!!!
I loved them!
Thank you so much!!
Congrats on a fantastic market. It is surprising what did and didn't sell. That dirty pig is so cute.
It is surprising! Every time I think I know how much and what to bring, I’m proved wrong 😂. Every market is different!

What yarn weight do you use to make your plushies?
Congrats on a great market!! I love your tiger!❤
@@Maple_Creations thank you!! I can’t wait to try it out with orange
Christmas sales are always high. I don’t do any markets after Christmas until spring. It’s just too slow. It’s Christmas! Sell, sell, sell!!

I would love it if you would put out patterns for your snowman and chick modifications. Please?

I would also love to purchase your sports’ spirit designs❤
That’s exciting to hear. I can’t wait. You really hit the nail on the head with your sport’s designs. That shows a lot of talent!
Aww, thank you guys! You’re making my day!
Congratulations! 🏈 ⛄ 🐤
Ha! Thank you so much- love your emoji choices haha!
Do you have the pattern for the mushroom pop?

If you ever sell the Andy Reid pattern, I’d totally buy it!

@ I almost always use size 6 yarn. I also might be where I live. Not a lot of people seem to value handmade
