All of your items are adorable 🥰 The most recent event I went to have 7 crochet artists so I totally get the frustration. I hope you have a wonderful holiday ❤
It sux when they tell you something and totally forget or don’t give a 💩 because they’re all about the money but everyone I talk to or watch videos of is doing pretty crappy this year. I’m looking forward to taking a break over the next few months and doing exactly what you mentioned, make what I enjoy and work on starting to do videos. I hope your December markets are amazing, get cracking making stock, I’ve been concentrating on small items that always sell out and now finishing up all my WIPS
It sucks but I really feel like they just care about the money most of the time😅 thank you for the comment and thanks so much for watching!! Good luck with your inventory prep!!❤️
Happy 3rd birthday to your son! 🥳🎉🎊 He's a handsome dude! I'm not surprised the yeti was adopted! He was cute and fun looking! ❤ All your items are so good!
So excited looking at everyone's holiday builds...while I am sitting here just on gnomes because I'll have to safety test and make a technical file for each holiday make...seems like it just isn't as worthwhile if I can't sell that make year-round...maybe I can just change the colours on the gnomes and turn them into all-year little guys. Also happy belated birthday to your ginger son from my ginger son. =^_^=
AW my ginger son says thank you to your ginger son!!! The safety testing stuff is crazy I couldn’t imagine😳 you could totally be a gnome business tho!! People love gnomes!
I totally understand the frustration of having too many crochet vendors at an event. Last year I was put directly next to another vendor and I was sick to my stomach setting up. Not happy. But I made the best of it and got a new crochet friend and we both sold tons of stuff. It worked out but I’m still annoyed with the venue!! They can at least fix the locations of the table so you don’t have to be competing.
Ugh I’m sorry. It’s so awk when they put us so close!!! But making new crochet friends is always nice. I hope your future events are better! Thanks so much for watching❤️
I feel your pain … so sorry it’s like that. The button gingerbread man is my favorite. All your makes are fantastic and exceptional quality, so keep doing what you do. Happy Thanksgiving and happy birthday to your cutie pie son ❤.
I was at this market as well! I was in the cafeteria with 2 other crocheters! But none in the gym, then you and Jessica (neveah crafts) in the first room. And the spots are ridiculously tight!.10x5!!! My husband and I could not move! My husband sells 3d art and there were 3 of them in the cafeteria with us!! (4 total!) What the heck?? It's a very busy well attended event, but it's not organized well.
Omg no way!!! I didn’t realize there was even MORE! And the spots were soooo tight I was literally barricaded in😅 I feel like because of the set up you can tell they definitely just care about the money which sucks. Maybe see you in the spring tho!!! (we’ll see if that’s any better or worse)
❤ it was so nice to see you at the event!!! I do think that they didnt spread people out very well, we were very close together and I dont think the big gym had any crochet vendors, but i didn't get a chance to really walk around. imI am sorry the event wasn't as successful as you were hoping, i was alsoexpecting to do better than I did, I made more at the spring fair than I did at the fall fair which I found suprising. I also think it is wild how theu worded that email. None of the correspondence I received said anything like that. I would be upset too if I had recieved an email worded that way. I hope your december events are more successful. I am ready for a break too and to make some fun things that I want to make and build up some inventory for next year. I feel like this year has been a roller coaster for markets, especially this fall, so hopefully a small break to recharge and build up inventory is just ehat we need to get back into the swing of it. I also want you to know I was so excited to see people walking by my booth with items they had purchased from you. I love those reindeer they are so stinking cute! You do amazing work and I love watching your videos.
It was so good to see you and the fam!! I think that was the first time we actually had an event together so that was fun! Just wish I didn’t make that my only November event and I wish they didn’t say weird stuff like that in the beginning😅 love all of your stuff always!! hope your December events are more successful as well! thank you for watching❤️
I hear you when it comes to having a bunch of vendors that sell the same stuff. Organizers need to really pay attention but its all about filling spaces and making their money. I hope your future markets don't have that problem. Everything you made is adorable! Thank you so much for including the patterns. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday 🦃🎄🎉
Hi.. lovely work! You did a great job at your event..you can only do so much considering the situation! Would you please share the turkey pattern source? I checked the document you had but did not see it listed. You do beautiful work, and I love your setup 😍
I signed up for two Christmas markets, one week apart. I thought I had plenty of inventory to cover both. I didn’t, now I am panic crocheting😂. We had a huge snowstorm so Tuesday is the first day I could go out as I am out of most yarns I need. We have one little private store that sells parfait chunky at over $9.00/skein. Great living in Canada eh? I was lucky, organizers had 3 school gyms full with only 2 plushie crocheters. They made sure everyone was successful.
I love the success though!! Congratulations!! I’m happy your event was organized well I’m jealous😅 best of luck with your future events and yarn gathering!!!❤️
That's a REALLY good idea on bobbles instead of gluing on pompoms! Why is it when we're in the process of making items we never think of things like that??? (Or is that just me??😂)
My last market lost me money because there were soooo many (think 6) with crochet items. And the fee was $100 as well. I did not make that back, it was horrible. I also emailed feedback to the coordinator as well. They need to know. I mean, yay for them filling their event with vendors but I suggested that they attempt to make it successful for their vendors too.
Ugh I’m sorry that happened. I feel like a lot of the event coordinators are just getting greedy about it unfortunately😔 I hope your future events are better! Thanks so much for watching!!
I just did a school event 11/23 and it was the same way, there was crocheted items everywhere, I am trying to add other items to my tables but I was also hoping for a good turn out also. I have been crocheting and doing events for 3 years and this year it seems like everyone and their great grandma are doing the same 😂😂😂 I do have a “BIG” show on 11/29 I guess we will see Happy Thanksgiving to you 🦃
I swear this year it just took off!! I didn’t really have this problem last year. Good LUCK at your big show!! I hope it’s amazing!❤️ thank you for watching!
Ugh! We had almost the same experience with a big Christmas show this year! Mine was $90, I thought I would be one of 2 plushie vendors and I showed up to at least 4 others, 2 basically right next to me. Not worth the booth fee! I hope your next one is better ☺
I hear you on the market dilemma. I have a friend that coordinates markets at this one venue every month. And 2 months before the Halloween market i told her several times in person that I would do that market. And I assumed she put me down for it. Then the week of the event i asked about set up and she said she didn't have me listed as a vendor and was already full with other crochet vendors. I literally didn't sign up to go to any October markets because I planned on this big Halloween one. I was making stuff all month for it and then I ended up not being able to go. Missing out on so many other markets and a months worth of sales. Needless to say I signed up for more December markets than I can probably stock for but I need to make up for the loss of sales somehow ha
Omg that’s the worst! I’m so sorry that happened!! I guess after this I’m learning to not bank on “good” events and I need to make sure I have others lined up🙄 I hope your future events are better! Thanks so much for watching!!
I can’t pick between the gingerbread because they are both so adorable ❤ I completely understand your frustration about the event. They need to be more transparent when vetting artisans.
Have no clue how im so early for this video lol I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU MADE ITS ALL SO CUTE!!! I have a winter market so watching this gave me new ideas and some new motivation
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! You're doing a great job! I think the market is just changing due to the popularity of crochet. Last craft fair I went to had so much crochet! but honestly one 1 vendor who had the quality you show. Some of the plushies were so sad looking 😢 clearly some people are just trying to cash in while it's trendy. Keep pressing on!
yeah i just did a market that cost me freaking $100 to get into and i inquired on 2 separate occasions if there would be other plushie makers.. "oh no, the other fiber artists are hats and gloves and stuff." day of? not only were there at LEAST FOUR other crocheters with plushies, we were all grouped together. i wasn't very happy at all but just tried to make the most of it as best as i could. it wouldn't be such a BFD if we didn't have to pay so freaking much just to set up. like if the event is free, have as many freaking same-item vendors as you want. it's really frustrating sometimes.
Ugh I’m so sorry that happened. At the very least I wish they were just honest and transparent about how many of the same vendor will be there so we can make the decision for ourselves ya know!! I hope your future events are better! Thanks so much for watching❤️
With over 100 stalls, i would expect more than 3 of the same crafts. And if you applied in July then it is possible that they didn't have anyone else selling crochet plushies at the time 🤷🏻♀️
Oh that's annoying having another vendor selling the same stuff close by. Also they should give you a map with the list of vendors so any problems can be sorted out beforehand.
They gave us a map but it just had everyone’s full names not business names so it was hard to decipher😅 Hopefully I have some better luck in December. thanks so much for watching!! ❤️
I just did my first Christmas market of the year last weekend... vendor fee was 120, and between taking a few hours off work, comute, etc.... I think I took home around 200 profit 😅😅. It's really tough when the vendor fees are so freaking high, lol. I'm learning from it though.. may have to change tactics for next year 🤔 On a side note, how long does it take you to make the dogs, cats and cows from aqcrochets? I've been putting the patterns in my cart on and off for months now but never bite the bullet 😂😂
Ugh I’m so sorry I totally feel you. It’s so much work to go to an event so when it’s not super successful it’s soooo frustrating. The cats are quick! Around an hour maybe less! The dogs and cows have a little bit of sewing but still around an hour/hour and a half! I love those patterns!
You have every right to be upset about the coordinators having several duplicate and triplicate vendors. My friend recently had a big crafts fair and I helped her with it and also wanted to get an idea of how her markets do.She had expected it to be a huge money maker. There were not just 1 or 2 other crocheters there but 11!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I get that these coordinators want to have lots of vendors but 11? That is ridiculous. And her fee to be there was $300 plus a separate fee of $150 to be a part of their events in general. So 11 other crocheters had to also pay that fee. No one can make any money if there are so many of the same vendors. I think 1 (maybe 2 of the same if its a bigger event). Sorry vendors are having to go through this. It definitely made me NOT want to become a crochet vendor.
11 vendors with that kind of vendor fee is insane!!! I had an event earlier this year with like 10+ plushie vendors thankfully the fee wasn’t as high but it’s still sooo frustrating. I’m about to switch my craft😅
24:03 he cares!!! He cares a Lot about the snails! 🐌🎄 lol
TRUUU at least someone does😅
Thank you for making Buttons part of your market inventory! He is ADORABLE. You did a great job! 🫶
Omg of course!! An amazing pattern I love him!!!💙
All of your items are adorable 🥰
The most recent event I went to have 7 crochet artists so I totally get the frustration. I hope you have a wonderful holiday ❤
Omg 7?!?! I’m sorry to hear that. Hope your future events go well! Thank you for watching💕
Oh my gosh! It's the night before my event, and I am crocheting like CRAZY! I am so excited to watch this while I work. 😊
LOVE IT! good luck at your event and thanks so much for watching!!❤️💚
GOOD LUCK
good luck
Im signed up for the spring event too....and it sounds like there is quite a bunch of us, already!!
Love watching these while I crochet
Love to hear that!! Thank you so much for watching! Happy crocheting!❤️

I love the video bomb with the cat butt 🤣🤣🤣
He’s always gotta be all up in my business😂 thanks so much for watching!!

Instead of hot gluing the buttons on separate you should try making red bobble stitches in place ❤️
OMG brilliant why didn’t I think of that?!? Thank you so much for the comment and thanks for watching!!❤️

@ thank you 😊 ❤️
Hang in there ❤ that’s frustrating to have multiple of the same type of vendors definitely takes away from ALL regardless how cute your stuff is
ugh agreed!! Thank you for the comment and thanks so much for watching!❤️
I just did a show was in contract only 2 of same type of vendors I get there there is only 37 vendors and 9 of them selling crochet ugh
Ugh! We had almost the same experience with a big Christmas show this year! Mine was $90, I thought I would be one of 2 plushie vendors and I showed up to at least 4 others, 2 basically right next to me. Not worth the booth fee! I hope your next one is better ☺

I just made the snowman just a bit bigger.
Love it!! He’s such a cute make!❤️
