This was super helpful. I've been playing SF pretty much for the first time; I didn't care for SF II or the others as much, but this clicked with me, and Makoto's fighting style as well. She's so different in using and more challenging in stringing combos.
I know right! I've known this game for a while but only played it on emu so far. I think imma buy a controller and start practicing!

Nss cara eu realmente não esperava que fosse Br pq tipo geralmente só vejo tutorial em ingles. Mas isso mostra que nós brasileiros estamos ativose e vivos nas comunidades de jogos de luta. 1 + incrito. Ótimo tutorial. i find it really hard to reset combos in games like 3rd Stike, but when you do and pull combos like this, it's so satisfying

Boa! Sempre bom ver que 3S continua vivo e com gente disposta a ensinar.
Tem um combo com Abare que é muito bom, sem gastar barra adicional, e nao requer kara-fuki. Se me lembro direito, é Karakusa > HP xx SA2 xx jp cancel > LK Tsurugi > HP Fukiage xx jp cancel > jp.HP. Tu pode fazer dash Karakusa pra fechar o stun (se o oponente não stunnar antes devido a um hit anterior ao combo). Gouki, Ibuki e Remy tomam 100℅ stun nesse.

As a Makoto main I come back to this video every now and then for a little inspiration when I want to add a little funk to my repertoire. All of this is my bread and butter but sometimes you need to throw in some eggs and sausage to supplement, ya feel?

@@bola385 True. It is not a valid combo. It even says 7 hit combo which omits the karakusa grab and stand fierce.

Does sa2 only connect when it's light, I can't get heavy sa2 to work
SA2 basically jumps behind to the corner and flies off at an angle, Light is a very steep angle, Heavy goes to the other side of the screen, and Medium hits somewhere in the middle of the screen. You have to choose which one to do based on where your opponent is on screen, and it’ll only combo from a standing heavy punch if you’re close to the corner, facing away from it.

Nada. É que eles dão muito trabalho pq tem certos combos que funcionam pra certos personagens e precisa ficar regravando a mesma coisa várias vezes. Por isso demora muito, mas pretendo fazer de todos os personagens^^

na moral cara, nao consigo nem lascando fazer um combo, aquele combo 4 do ryu por exemplo, to a uns 3 dias tentando passar e nao consigo, tem mt pouco tempo de um hit pro outro ainda mais atks que te afastam do personagem
Se for o do 0:32 tenta esse : cr.lk e "chesto" com soco fraco. Geralmente fazem essa sequencia :lk, "chesto" fraco,cr.lk "chesto,lk,"chesto" fraco. Não comba, mas o tempo pra fazer é rápido demais. "chesto" = Hayate.
