So many interviews and a waste of time on both sides. That's the reason if a recruiter does ask me for a phone call to ask him/her first about the recruiting process. If it's longer than 2 or 3 interviews tops I'm out. There is a test/trial period in each work contract meant to ensure the employer that the employee is a good fit for the position and vice versa. Otherwise, if I work for a company and I have to participate in 5 to 10 interviews in order to switch the company....that's hardly achievable (missing out of work so many times and from a couple of hours to a half-day per interview). Your video was really helpful, but just the process of getting people on board these days....there's something wrong with it.
I agree that we should always be looking into ways to improve the recruiting process! I think there are likely less interviews for contract work vs full time roles also. Sorry to hear you've felt some frustration in the past with interviews you've been apart of!
Hey Alexa, I had a look at one of your videos for the first time and I low key feel we have the same personality in real life lol. I wanted to say that your deserve higher views! I wonder if talking about tech as a whole or work life balance would help. Maybe asking in the community tab? Just a thought, best of luck
Heyyyy omg love that - lol! Also, omg thank you 🥲 I'm in a bit of a UA-cam hole at the moment I think. Trying to preserve through it and since I love making videos so much it hasn't been too bad. You've got a good point, maybe broadening out could work. P.S. Just watched your Yes Theory video. Loved it!
HI Alexa, I am excited your energy level. But If you speak little bit slowly will easy to understand, because many of the viewers are not a native speaker.

Yep, got it 👍 I can’t change anything for this video but you should be able to slow the video speed down and hopefully that helps.
You speak so fast... I was thinking the video was playing on 1.5 speed 😀
hahah sorry! You can slow the video down to .5 right? 😅
