Tamiya 1/35 Schwere Panzerspahwagen (8 Rad) Sd.Kfz. 232 - Kit Review

A review of Tamiya's, 1/35 scale, Schwere Panzerspahwagen, Sd.Kfz. 232, 8 wheel armoured car model kit, No. 35036.
This kit is an ongoing re-issue of the original Sd.Kfz. 232 model kit, No. MM 136, first released in 1974. There is no specific release date identified on this re-issue, as, even the sprues contained in the kit, are still copyrighted '1974'.
This older style Tamiya kit, although lacking the refined detail of modern kits, would be an ideal "Weekend Build", and is suitable for modellers of all experience levels.
The kit includes a commander figure, dressed in pre-war/early-war uniform, original style Tamiya instructions, vehicle accessories, a basic overall painting and marking guide, with both tactical and divisional insignia.

One of my favorite vehicles. Lots of fun driving it in the online game WW2OL. Couldnt harm enemy tanks (aside from panhard/DAC/vickers) but it sure did annoy infantry and bedford trucks.
Pretty cool that it has two driver seats for forward and reverse as well.
