As stated in the video, the pins only come out in one direction, make sure you push from the correct side or you'll make your life much harder (trust me... 🤦♂️)
I got one claiming a drivetrain issue, go to service centre and drive slow. Wouldn't let me select above comfort, cleared after a few mins and no more messages on instrument cluster.
Excellent video. Straight to the point and even showed the disconnection of the battery.
Great advice. Would only add that the pins come out in opposite directions for left and right paddles.

This was an annoying instal but worth it. Only issue I can see is the paddles feel a bit flimsy
Plus the airbag is sooo much easier to get out compared to my e92

No error messages. The electrical parts stay the same. Car steering light can come on the dashboard which goes off after short drive.
