Kids actually out exploring the neighborhoods is awesome to see, I used to do it all the time and really gave me a good perspective on my city also helped with traveling as I got older.
I found your channel because of Garrett's, but I just want to say that even though his content is way more insane, this is definitely more relatable. As a 38-year-old professional that still likes to have fun and act like a kid, I enjoy everything that you share. Traveling, buying a boat in Thailand, fighting my HOA, giving up racing for flying (I'm studying for ground school). Keep up the fun and uplifting content!
Dang, brings back memories. We even had some small races organized by the neighborhood, and some bicycle drags with some bets. Now there's none like that...shame...but I would definitely pay it forward when some kids do what we once enjoyed. Way better than playing games on phones and whatnot
I didn't live in the city but when we were kids we had quads and snowmobiles and mini bikes. still have my 1974 Rupp mini bike. this is good stuff for kids to be doing.
so people complain when these bikes and quads are driven on the streets, the complain when they are driven on some trails, they complain if they are on empty land.... where exactly are they supposed to go and ride?
I literally get in trouble all the time for riding in the field behind my house. What's funny is the county assessors don't even know who owns it😂 I've looked into it 😅

This reminds me of my time in Placerville, California like 14. We used to rip up and down the railroad tracks for like 5 to 10 miles. With my YZ 125. It was a great time.
I get the guys’ concern about bikes ripping but at the same time as a former dirt bike trail rider, there’s a code and that’s basically to leave the trail as you found it. As long as you’re not leaving big riffs and hangin it on the rev limiter, just enjoy the ride so the next guy can do the same. Much love

I had someone put up a single strand of barbed wire across the trail on me when I was a kid trying to keep me from riding. I didn’t find it until I hit it around a turn at 45-50mph. Major bleeding on the brain, personality change, short term memory loss etc. People can really be shitty.

And, this is why I don't live in an HOA community. Live within the city limits though. Not as strict as the HOA communities in my area though. Parker, seriously sell the house ASAP and get the heck out of that subdivision.
We rode our bicycles every where all summer, we couldn't afford mini bikes. We'd ride in the big park close to home, jump the bikes off some of the paths, all the kids did it. We usually didn't get in trouble but this was the late 60s and early 70s. Kids were free ranging and rule was be home by dark.
People that stop kids from riding stuff around the neighborhood are usually also the ones whining about how kids these days don't play outside anymore and just want to play video games and I always think and I wonder why!?? Hate it! Normalize growing up outside enjoying hanging out with friends and doing fun things!!

Our neighborhood encourages mini bikes, golf cars, 4 wheelers and burnouts! When I first moved here I had a hotrod project I rolled into the garage under cover of darkeness! Then I found out I'm surrounded by gearheads!
So when will you and your wife be having your own children? Youd make a good dad, you both seem really caring and you both seem to have solid careers and a establish home depending on the HOA 😂❤
