technically this is not origami, you cut out the separate wings. before that however it is, i would suggest to not use scissors and cut the wings, you can tell what it is bore the cut

I know this comment is old, but I'm curious, what is the difference between the two?

@@Nerd_Nugget2007 Hey! I meant that at one point you have to cut the paper to form the two sets of wings. Technically traditional origami models sometimes had cutting the paper as part of the process. But as far as I know most people nowadays classify origami as only folding the paper and classify paper-folding with cuts as Kirigami.
