I feel like tajin and pineapple shouldn't really be considered a hack. Eating fruit with chile, lime, and salt is just part of Mexican food culture. We even have street vendors that sell cut fruit with chile and lime. Tajin is just powdered chile, dehydrated lime, and salt

Pineapple has an enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain is a digestive enzyme that breaks down proteins. Your mouth is full of proteins. So basically, when you eat pineapples, they eat you back!!!!! Lol that's why when you eat too much pineapple your mouth feels tore up!!!!! *The More You Know* 😂
She's not allergic to pineapple... It has an enzyme called bromelain that breaks down protein which causes burning, itching, or a tingly sensation! So basically while you are eating pineapple it is eating you too!

Tajin on pineapple has been a popular treat for a long time now. Along with mango, watermelon, cantaloupe and other fruits.
Tajin on fruit is good! Especially sweet-sour fruit. Semi-ripe or green mangoes are better than ripe mangoes if you pair it with Tajin.

As a Canadian, ketchup and popcorn is no revolutionary pairing. You used to be able to buy powdered ketchup popcorn flavouring at Blockbuster 🤣
Whenever Canadians would come to my theatre I would auto go oh we don’t have ketchup flavoring powder when naming out popcorn seasoning. It’s Hilarious to watch their reactions to not being looked at crazy. I also love ketchup chips.

You can still buy powdered ketchup popcorn seasoning! Kernels makes it. My favourite is the all dressed but I also like the dill pickle and white cheddar varieties!

The best weird combination is curry-flavored noodles (preferably super noodles) and blue cheese (English stilton). Everyone has always looked at me weirdly when I would make this until they tried it 😀
I'm out at bleu cheese 😂 Although I occasionally eat it at the place we go for wings, but it's super mild in bleu cheese flavour.

JACK if you're reading this, I say this with LOVE, please go and experience new foods and new flavors especially spicy yet flavorful foods. There is a whole world outside your palate which looks like it can only take sweet things.
...I remember when try not to eat was ended with a punishment.... although the pickle snickers was punishment enough. Individually great, together... no. Also, that one guy seems like cracked black pepper would be too spicy for him.

The Takis hack makes sense. The Scoville Unit (heat unit for peppers) is loosely based on how much sugar it takes to neutralize the heat - the more sugar needed, the higher the Scoville Unit. So the added sugar (which is already in most chips anyway) will simply make it less hot feeling. Having said that, I'm totally going to try this, even though I love hot peppers.
Have a cinnamon roll with a bowl of chili. A Midwestern school lunch staple.

Yeah, it's better to err on the side caution when it comes to any kind of allergy, but pineapple contains a chemical that breaks down meat (pineapple juice is used to tenderize meats) so that could be why it feels like it is "burning" the inside of the mouth. Also why you should shake the ketchup is a shear-thinning non-Newtonian fluid.

A good way to remove the burn from pineapple is sprinkle with a little bit of salt. It negates the acid in the pineapple.

My mom uses sugar in her salsa when we go out to eat if it's too spicy for her so I wasn't actually surprised by the takis and sugar. It's not personally my thing, but adding sugar to something hot usually helps tone the spice down.

I would've lost try not to try on the first round. Pickles are in my top 10, maybe even top 5 favorite foods for sure, and Snickers is my TOP candy by far. One I would not try though: cool whip and pink starburst powder. I do not like either of those. I also probably wouldn't try popcorn and ketchup, but now I might try it with soy sauce 😂
