As a Chargers fan, I really respect how the Raiders are building, they may be a lot better than people think! Obviously the QB situation will have to play out but their defense is gonna be nice, and they've got weapons in the passing game. Obviously ! Should be a wild AFC West! Love the way the West is shaping up!
Ted Hendricks
#54 Greg Biekert. Became a Raider Fan early 90’s 🏴☠️☠️
The “Mad Stork” #83
MATT MILLEN WAS A TREMENDOUS BEAST in the middle if that great championship defense!
Either Rod Martin, Ted Hendricks, or Villapiano.
If we had Romo from the beginning, I’d throw him in there as well, just didn’t play long enough.
Monte Johnson was the most underrated player in the early days and set the standard for the LBs that we all know and love.
But Monte was the real deal all substance with out the flash.
Rod Martin / Ted Hendricks period
I had rod Martin as well 3 Int's in a SUPERBOWL was my answer, and The mad stork was a beast. Good calls
@@penstlion2757
No doubt
In my opinion Rod Martin should've been MVP of Super Bowl 15. No disrespect to Jim Plunkett
@@penstlion2757Martin AMAZING GAME 👍
Greg Biekert, he’s was their MLB when i was a kid watching Raider football and playing madden 96🙌
Kirk Morrison
Rod Martin, was Super Bowl mvp
He balled out thar game 👍
Agreed.
Matt Millen ( I had the conductor hat and Overalls as a kid and ended up playing a lot of my football at MLB 🏴☠️🖤🏴☠️ 🫡) but it’s hard with Hendricks, Rod Mattin, PHIL V
Matt is who I was going to say!
While not as "flashy" or perhaps "elite" as some of the other more obvious LBs who stood out for the Raiders, let's not forget a HAMMER in the middle for the S&B that might attract some comparisons with Eichenberg... none other than THE Greg Biekert. Nine seasons with the Raiders as a stalwart defender who found ways to rise above and work around some of his physical shortcomings regarding athleticism, resulting in a fantastic and noteworthy career, leading the team in tackles for 6 of his 9 seasons, starting 85% of games played, recovering Brady's Tuck FUMBLE, and rarely missing a game due to injury. He was Mr. Consistent no doubt, and represented the team far above and way beyond what could've been expected as a 7th Round draft pick. SOLID all-time Raider right there, for sure! The kind of guy you'd want in the trenches with you, side by side, when the ESS hits the fan!
Someone who knows thier stuff! Love it!
Phil Villapiano #41
Rod Martin
Matt Millen. True Raider! Mean, hot tempered, stuck up for his teammates. He said the Raiders play by the 3 P's Rule: Pushing, Pointing and Punching. It's coming back my freinds, with AP!
Rod Martin was a beast
The Mad Stork, Biekert was good and Millen.
In this order, Ted Hendricks, Matt Millen, Rod Martin & Phil Villapiano.
Millen, Hendricks, and Martin. Top 3 MLB Raiders
Those 3 played on the same team, but even better in my opinion were Villapiano, who REALLY should be in the Hall of Fame, Ted Hendricks and Monte Johnson who was a lot like Millen.
But if we are talking the best 3 of all time, then Dan Conners is middle linebacker with Hendricks and Villapiano playing the outside.
Rod Martin...I got to meet him & tried on his Super Bowl ring & it was huge!!
I knew since last draft this guy was a stud . Was very happy to see us get him in the later rounds at that !
Matt Millen was my favorite lb. I'veBeen in the Raider nation since 1974.
Man i hope he work out!We Raider fans need some good luck!
Napoleon Harris, part of the Gruden trade and the Moss trade. Great guy, hs teammate of RandelEl. His rookie season in a Super Bowl and he hosted a chat session of his own weekly that friends at raiderfans helped him with.
Knee injury into second season slowed him down. Played for several teams twice, sogn of good football character.
Born in 91 for me it was Romanoski, however all time for us Phil V, Matt M, Ted H. I couldnt pick one.
Might not be best, but the toughest to me was Monte Johnson, played with a shattered broken nose against chiefs once, and played with a broken neck against the Broncos in an AFC chamionship.Look it up.
2nd comment, but thanks for covering the Raiders! Love your guys takes. ESPN doesn’t even give us 1 segment a month it’s annoying.
Ted Hendricks, hands down. I became a Raiders fan 45 years or so ago because of The Mad Stork. I was a little kid watching a game and the TV announcer said something to the effect of, “they can’t get past #83.” As a little kid, I took that literally and thought it was a rule. I was like, whoa, how cool! 😅
Rod Martin SHOULD HAVE won MVP for superbowl Play. I mean, 2 interceptions in the biggest game
I believe it was three int's.
It's been so many decades since we had good Linebackers but,,,, from this century, Navarro Bowman.
From: this century yeah Bowman was good; I suppose everyone has forgot about, Khalil Mack [LB] this Century 🤔 since he went to the Rival chargers. He did play with the Raiders last time I checked.
I think most look at him as a Lineman.
@@leroythemaster4268 he was drafted as a LB .
Go raider
Rod Martin and Matt Millen oh and Greg Biekert
83 Stork Hendricks ,Matt Millen, Dan Connors each at number 55 respectively.
Sooo many great ones. Hard to choose one. I have to start with the beast, middle linebacker Dan Conners who tore the heads off anyone in his lane, 3 times a pro bowler and overlooked for the Hall.
Speaking of which, another terrific linebacker that's been snubbed by the Hall is 4 time pro bowler Phil Villapiano. While he anchored the left outside linebacker slot, the mad stork Ted Hendricks anchored the right and he is in the Hall of Fame. And after Villapiano retired, to pair with Hendricks, enter Rod Martin, 2 times in the Pro Bowl, 1 time All Pro.
Matt Millen was huge, a lineman sized linebacker at 255, like Monte Johnson before him who weighed 245. Both were fan favorites but neither was ever selected for Pro Bowl honors. After you get passed the Superbowl years there isn't really any linebacker that excited me until Spillane. He plays like a demon out there, a true Raider to the core.
But if I HAVE to choose 1 it has to be Hall of Fame, the mad stork, Ted Hendricks, one of the greatest to ever play.
Rod Martin and Ted Hendricks was nice as well!
Not in on Greg biekert , we called him Mr freeze. If you put a move on him he would freeze.
My top 3:
Stork
Rod Martin
Greg Biekert
Ted was the first that came to mind. Rod Martin is right up there too.
Rod martin
Rod Martin Matt Millen and Ted Hendricks
Rolando McClain ........triggering intensifies!!
The Stork.
Romo was a nightmare to play against.
Biekert, Romanowski, Morrison....
I would have to be Biekert #5️⃣4️⃣ 🏴☠️💀 for me. 🤨 Bill Romanowski, Matt Millen, Mad Stork, Phil Villapiano, ya'll are forgetting about: 🧐 Pat Swilling , Rob Frederickson etc.. etc! 🏴☠️☠️
With any luck AP might be the greatest Raiders LB. Also Hendricks.
Refuse to pick just one!
Hendricks and Matt Millen
That would give us 3 good ones. I hope he excels and becomes that steal. P.s. rod Martin and Ted Hendricks. Inside and out.
Bill Romanowski
See ball get ball is what I think he currently is. Love it, but want to see interpret ball get ball. So yes, all gravy.
I liked Payton Wilson more tho.
Villipiano,Ted Hendricks
The Stork (Ted Hendricks) and or Matt Millen or maybe Rod Martin
Linebacker we are always lacking(I’m only 29) legit can’t think of any names worth remembering😭😭.
Denzel Perryman and K. J. Wright there were alright
Kirk Morrison!
Rod Martin.
Phil Villapiano
Ted Hendricks and Phil Vilapiano 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ GO RAIDAZ 💀 ☠️ 🏴☠️
Foo!
He also put all his cars and other stuff in his ladys name like a drug dealer to file .this caoch is really a raider
Bill Romanoski
He’s going to be buried on the depth chart. Spillane, and Masterson will most likely be ahead of him imo
Rolando McCain
Raider Nation I bleed silver and black till I meet Jesus
Matt millen
Me(S.Schweigert)
Napolean harris
Rolando's gettin no love.
Greg Biekert sleeper pick! The reason the Raiders go to the Superbowl if the tuck rule was never called.
Reggie McKenzie
Is this the start of another disappointing saga?
No black pilling before the season!😂😂
This shxt is easy !. TED HENDREX. 83. / ROD MARTEN 53/ MATT MILLEN. 55 .!ANY QUESTIONS ?
Ted Hendrix
Rod Martin
Ted Hendrick
Bill Romanowski
Bill Romanowski
