What methods do you find best to grind your BP?

Thank you for this. I will be doing it solo so a lot of grinding, but also thanks to your tera raid videos I can also use the evolved form and make eggs of the starters on a few of them so can use the BP points I collect wisely. I don't like it when they make it so you have to go online with people if you want to play it solo.

the blue and red BBQ should have higher points given a lot of people can't always have a group to do the gold ones
Yeah, I'm one of those people, I play solo all the time except to get Violet exclusive Terra Raid special Pokemon like Palkia and Dialga, so I can't get a group together to do the gold ones...it'd be a different story if like the Terra Raids I could team up with complete randos online like the help board thing...but no, it HAS to be friends you have in your friend list.
@@ShinKyuubiI don’t have anybody to do it with either. Love this game, do not like how significant the boosts are when doing it with friends, not all of us have people to play with.
@@pokewack I think the reason for the huge jump in points was to encourage people to use the Union Circle, it was a big thing for them since they marketed it as being able to play with 3 other people at the same time on your friend list and you could all go off and do your own things without being on the same screen since it's an open world game. People weren't really using it I wager...most people either solo the Terra Raids or they would team up for version exclusive ones for the version they don't have so getting a crew together via Union Circle wasn't really needed. This however REALLY pushes you to use that Union Circle given just how MANY more points it'll net you versus playing solo. Max I've gotten for solo blue quest is 40 BP and that's usually "Catch this type of Pokemon" and most I've gotten for red is 200 BP...luckily I haven't seen "Make this type of sandwich" that requires the Herba Mystica...cause if I do I will be spending the BP to swap it out. I don't farm that stuff cause I got other games to play....need a freaking charm to increase chances of THOSE showing up after Terra Raid battles not critical catches...anyway...you rake in so much BP for playing with others it pushes you to have a large friend list so you can use Union Circle and rake it in...even if you DON'T like playing with other people in a game like Pokemon.

The boost is so good if four People have a bare minimum of 20 bp quests they all get the points from just one quests regardless of who it is assigned too you can do other people quests as well but cant change them. Quests also stacks giving more points too like travel quests and sneaking ones
they should do matchmaking if thats the case for farming instead of having to organise union circles ourselves
This is why i refuse to buy a switch online sub....why cant we have X and Y internet....

Thanks to the very lovely and helpful people in your discord group I was able to get all the snacks needed to get all the legendary Pokemon and farm a decent amount of BP.
Had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend joining the discord.

Ah. The oldest and most impossible of tactics: make friends
You can build up those tasks. For every 10 you get a red one, but if you don’t complete the red one right away and instead complete 20 more normal tasks it builds up so once you complete the red task another one will come up with the potential of being worth even more. That’s my experience anyway and might not pan out that way for everyone, but give it a shot.

So you're saying the red quests end up stacking so you can get multiple to complete in a row? I kinda thought if I were to get another red one when solo, then it would overwrite the existing one. I'll have to try that this afternoon when I get back from work
@@stevegoesrogue if you have multiple stacked up once you finish the first one the next one will show up and so on until you’ve finished the stack. I haven’t tested how many you can stack before it resets though, I stop at three just in case.
@@Kno_Buddy good to know. I've been doing each red quest as it shows up since I wqs afraid it would get overwritten if I did too many blue ones to get another red
@@stevegoesrogue no, the bar at the top showing the number of quests you did has at least three separate colors it can turn and after it fills up it starts the next color until it has cycled through all of them. There could be more than three, but I’m not going to risk it.
I havent even finished the main story of indigo disk and im already hunting for a shiny beldum xD. Btw Im really liking the part 2, mainly for the unova references cause gen 5 is my favorite gen ❤ (I know, im very original by saying that gen 5 is my favorite)

I agree, I genuinely hate grinding in video games. Especially repetitive shit like this. At least make the grinding fun. It isn't. They did this to basically add more hours to the game so you can waste more of your time on it and not complete it quickly.
The trainer increments are actually 5/10/all. Not all biomes have 14 trainers. One or two have 16 trainers, one has 15, and the other has 14.
Additionally, defeating each and every trainer in all 4 biomes will net you 5 Ability Patches from the last Counselor.

In order to get all of the Legendary Pokémon through Snacksworth, you have to complete the Yellow BBQs via the Union Circle with friends who have the opposite version of the game.
I detest it when they make group quests or things you need to be in a group for. What about the people who only want to play solo, who don't have friends who play the same game, or those who have extreme anxiety and can't play with others. I play extremely early in the morning 4/5/6 am before work and I very much doubt getting in time with others to play it for the group quests is easy for me.
I can handle the grinding if it saves joining groups but forcing people to have to join others to get some of the legendarys is not right.
I still haven't started the dlc ive been super busy but im gonna be traveling to see family for Christmas and im bringing my switch with me so ill be able to play it alot during that time
You can actually do the first three levels of the flying minigame before postgame
Hey question- so I just read a comment that half of the past legendaries in the snack quest are locked behind union circle. Can anyone confirm and how does it work? Do you hunt them in union circle together or do you just talk to the guy and get the snacks or what? Because I have 0 friends. If I paid for the DLC I should get the whole DLC. I understand higher level bbqs being gated. It sucks but at least you have an alternative option for getting them. But if half of these past legendaries are locked behind requirements of having online and having friends that play… that’s absurd.
Can confirm. The guy counts Solo and Union missions seperatly and once you have all Snacks from Solo missions he tells you, you should do some Union missions for more.

@@deffikE05it’s actually not quite what you think. Solo and Group quests rewards pull from two different pools. Solo Quests gives scarlet players the Scarlet “Exclusive” legendaries, while group quests would give them the Violet Legendaries. AFAIK every game had version exclusive returning Legendary Pokémon, with SwSh being a bit different cuz of the multiplayer aspect. So it’s just that again. The only ones that require Group Quests for both versions are Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma. But really it’s not that different from a Violet player needed to play online to catch their own Scarlet exclusive Pokémon
Man, this is upsetting. I beat the game and just got to the blueberry academy and beat it too. Only for the stupid guy to tell me I need to do the union circle event to get the other snacks for other legendary after catching articuno. The way I was mad bruh!!! I know no one that plays either versions of pokemon.
it's weird that falling off a cliff covers the distance traveled for that one easy quest.

Can you do multiplayer BP quests with random pickup groups like tera raids or do I literally need to have friends who play the game then plan with them on another platform to all be on at the same time then all join up together and go do stuff while being unable to communicate with each other in game?
I have a couple friends who play pokemon every year or so but I imagine this is going to be a nightmare
There's no random matchmaking for this. IdiotFreak doesn't have that much of hindsight. It's the same shit they've done with Ogre Oustin.

The auto-battle quests are faster if you use the synchro ability
You can kill a shiny my accident tho (or make it despawn if to far away from player).

Is anyone else completing red bbq quests involving picnics that aren't recognising as complete? E.g, make a sandwich with at least 3 ingredients, wash a pokemon, etc

This is how i farm solo (because i hate union circle and i refuse to pay for nintendo online):
---- Area betwen ice and costal ---
All i do is this (also giving it rating 1-10):
Defeat 10 wild Pokemon using Auto Battle 10/10
Claim victory in a Tera Raid Battle! (10 quests only one) 4/10
Terastallize your Pokemon to defeat a wIld Pokemon! (most its just 1 shot) 7/10
Take a photo of a wild Pokemon swimming! (this is why i avoid other 2 down areas -- its very common) 8/10 (photos get saved -- i recomend you dont unlock photos till the end as its extra clicks on buttons)
Catch 1 Pokemon (quick balls and repeat balls are a must have to speed it up --- also a box where you can trash those pokemon) 5/10
Battle a wild Tera Pokemon! (to save time, just run away when you engage it) 7/10
Travel over 500 yards! (its done automatic) 10/10
Pick up items on the ground 10 times! (when resetting, you always want this one up) 10/10
Make a X tasting sandwich (its very fast....and you can fail misreably at it) 4/10
Take a photo of a wild Pokemon in flight! (note that pokemon that levitate of ground also count) 8/10
Take a photo of a wild Pokemon in the Coastal Biome/Polar Biome! (this is why you stand betwen those 2 areas to do it fast) 5/10
Make yourself a TM! (only when quests that i do dont show up any more) -- i recomend doing this one when you return to restock and use the points. 2/10
I just watch something in meanwhile and do it with bare minimum effort -- just standing on mount and let the pokemon do the battles/pick up items for me.
If you need to do a 200 pokedex quest without trading, you only need to unlock 3 areas -- so it saves you gridding points. Note that hidden meloeta doesnt count to a dex count and legendarys that you get also dont count.
I skip: sneak up on 1 Pokemon / Catch 1 Pokemon of a specific type / Take a photo of a wild Pokemon in the Savanna Biome! / Catch 1 element type of pokemon (i only let ice, grass or water) / Hatch a Pokemon Egg!

2 switch’s on local work fine but sadly both need dlc and the kikamari fist 3-4 quest done minimum I think

Honestly, even the old Spyro games had better controls than the flying minigame in the Indigo Disk expac... Although the camera angles were nauseating... Maybe I'm wrong though, as I have never done the courses in Spyro myself, just used to watch my mother struggle with those courses in Spyro.
you mention 14 trainers, but some areas have 16. At least Coastal does, and they go by 5->10->16

Seriously, i just beat the regular and bothe DLCs and caught an articuno just for the stupid guy to tell me i got to do the union circles to get the other snacks for the other legendaries KMT. The way i am livid now. If only i got Ho oh or entei, id be happy and leave the game alone. The game development team really pester me!

Hold it! How did you get multiple red quests to show up? I can only get them to spawn 1 at a time (after getting the gauge maxed out). Also; how did you get 4 blue quests, ye max i can get is 3!

In my game, when I was going through the Coastal Biome, the npc said I needed to beat 16 trainers in the biome. But, I only found 15. Anyone know where the last one is?

You don't know how much I Needed this video as was thinking I would have days of grinding ahead. What did we all think of the DLC. I thought it was slightly underwhelming in comparison to the first one. Solid 8/10.

This is NOT Nintendo's doing. This game was made by Game Freak. Not every game Nintendo publishes is made by them.
