- Nicole Parker singing I'm Alive from Next to Normal... She calls Aaron Tveit over to "be Diana! Or Alice Ripley or whatever" and says that she'll keep moving while singing to make it more realistic... and she definitely doesn't know all the words. Sorry for the shaking, I couldn't stop laughing =D
I can't see faces because of the video quality but from Aaron's body language he just looks so done, it's hilarious.

Funny story! For my acting class freshman year, our final was to put on a one act. I casted two of my friends as Diana and Dan, casted myself as "Gabby", wrote several monologues for the character, and we basically did a condensed version of the first act of n2n! But seriously, if we could get Tom and Brian to take that idea and run with it, our dream role might actually one day become a reality! ;)

During the stage performance, at the end of this song, Diana is sitting on the stage and Gabe is standing on the third level of the set, and when he sings the last word both of them reach their hands toward each other as if trying to touch. Aside from Gabe's tiring choreography, this is the iconic thing for this song, like how Elphaba being raised up, holding a broom in one hand with both arms stretched up toward the sky is the iconic pose for "Defying Gravity" in Wicked. Aaron was making a joke, pretending to be Diana.
How embarrassing messing up the lyrics to an Aaron Tveit song in front of Aaron Tveit! Then again, if I had the chance to sing one of Aaron's greatest songs to him (which is my ultimate dream in life), I probably wouldn't get through it alive ;)

Gabe is my dream role too! C'mon, all you'd have to do is change the name to Gabby, and change the pronouns around, then you're good.
