The reason behind them all looking similar that they are all clones. Hence the one with the glasses said. If they didn't have anything unique about them, how could they tell each other apart.
How can they be clone with their own distinct personality or looks?
@@gamingtideXthey're not exactly clones. All of them are made from the genetics of one person. Titania whose the Empress of Glamoth. They're closer to siblings, but they're all test tube babies. But also not all clones are going to be the same, and given this is Sci-Fi stuff we're getting into. It's not going to be true to reality. Closest example I can think of are the clones from star wars. They're not the same in terms of personality and not always in terms of appearance.
But I think the more canon explanation is they're not true clones and have some unique DNA given they're also genetically modified as well AFAIK. So the modifications will react differently, on top of their nurture and the role they seemingly play in the war. Our firefly seems to be more front lines, glasses seems to be more back lines and bulky clone seems to be a shielder or a tank.
This is just my opinion though, and im not 100% caught up and well versed in the lore.

@@gamingtideX ima go to the other person point with the star wars clones. The clones in star wars (excluding the bad batch) are all genetically identical yet due to how the mind works. They all develop different personalities and traits through their experiences. They share the same DNA though. A clone is just someone who shares identical DNA
@@gamingtideX DNA is purely genes it doesn't effect the mind. A human is shaped by their experiences and memories hence why every Clone would still turn out different some more than others.
Star Wars tackles this.
There are dudes, the one in the big suit was a boy. Its just that they are all children since they are basically clone troopers so they all die young.
So it's Xenoblade 3's characters pretty much. Cloned kid soldiers being food for the enemies of the game and live only 10 years of their lives if they don't die in combat.

Im surprised no one else has pointed out that, aside from the character who is clearly their superior, the other three are CHILDREN so, of course that boy wasn't a "chad" or anything. They're kids. Teenagers at the oldest. Glamoth uses child soldiers? CLONED child soldiers?
Ethics are a second thought when dealing with giant monster bugs I guess

@@MegaApostelI know, I just mentioned it because Smack keeps getting disappointed by the fact that there isn't a "chad" in any of the suits when we already know (and it becomes more clear the more we learn about Glamoth) that these are all child soldiers. He's expecting something that is impossible and getting disappointed when it doesn't happen.
This basically confirms that all of the Glamoth Iron Cavalry are clones of each other.
This is why they commented on Firefly growing her hair out to enhance her individuality.

The reason why they look same is that they're all clones. They also suffer from syndrome of entropy loss and their suits also sustain their lives. Firefly and her clones are able to ditch the suit for a certain period time though. And all of them are the knights of Glamoth.

The Iron Cavalry are essentially like the clones in Star Wars. They all stem from a singular LUCA (last universal common ancestor) of their race. My bet is on Titania being the person who they are all based off of, which would make sense on how she would be able to telepathically control the entire fleet. The video description mentions that the first rule of the Iron Cavalry is that they should always be proud that they were born.

The one in the bulkier armor is a boy. In en they used a female va so it’s even harder to recognize him, but you can notice that his bodysuit is slightly different.
It’s unlikely that any of the knights were chads since their life expectancy was so low that even growing hair was considered a sign of experience and seniority. Since they’re clones they might’ve even experienced accelerated growth from embryos to their current physical appearance, just enough to pilot the suits, so they’re probably not even older than a few months
and in jp they used a male voice. It is interesting because usually in animes young boys are voiced by females but they went with a male voice for this one.

With a lore video like this, you can tell who read the lore about Glamoth & the Iron Cavalry and those who did not when it comes to reactions lol.
Smack did actually read the relic set I think he may have just blanked on some of it.

I've read it all and even I forgot a lot of this stuff, because I have a lot going on in my life, same with a lot of folks.
It was a little disappointing to me that most streamers thought the one male was a female 😔
Besides that, also saw a couple creators think this is what the people of Glamoth look like. These are clone weapons. They don't reflect the actual citizenry.
My headcanon after watching this is that they aren't all SAM's , Firefly refers to her suit as Firefly type IV : Strategic Assault Mech(SAM) but she refers to other one as Firefly type V :Personalised Escort Model(PEM) , plus they 4 Suits all have different looks and features, Which makes be believe they there are different Firefly types , Type IV is SAM but the others aren't, and i guess because of their different sizes and specs all Firefly types have different roles in the War
Which is weird cause the credits for va in the description are the pilot's serial number and Sam for all of them
The one with the glasses had a suit with a much smaller frame with what looked like a Reconn drone attached to its back so maybe her Firefly is a Scout type built to gather information and scout out Enemy forcrd Hence its smaller frame for more Mobility ,I'm going to guess she's a type III. The other bulky one I'm going to say is a type II a standard Iron Calvary Knight for regulat combat operations , Our Firefly is a type IV and the "Strategic Assault" in SAM makes me think that type IV's are specialised more powerful combat officers like Special opps or SEAL teams for Infiltration and Assasination . The type V's could be Search and Rescue units or from the name "Personalised Escort" could be body guards and Escorts
Maybe they don't want to spoil things for us , or maybe I'm just wrong 😭😂
Judging from her reactions when using the Hanunu rocket launcher, the glasses girl uses a Grasshopper type 3.

It's really ironic that after all the atrocities that Glamoth pulled off to destroy the Swarm their undoing came because of their inability to manage their own empire during the war.

But obviously you can't create an entire season of anime in 3 months, so it's fairly obvious it's two cours if you look at the dates instead of the listing from anime sites that don't gaf

The girly look of Firefly was to turn folks off into thinking she is inside that SAM Suit.

yeah, I like waifus but I hate anime with an all female or all male cast unless it fits the setting, if it's a "Western Game" i'd like it have a normal male to female ratio, depending on the setting, if it's a GTA-like game, a 50/50 ratio but if it's a military shooter, then a 90/10 male to female ratio because in reality there are few females in military, women consists about 16% of the US military and a vast majority are in non-combat roles, I hate the modern trend of military shooters turning into gender quotas. but if it's an anime game, I'd prefer the opposite ratio of 10/90 male to female ratio, since i'm a degen that likes lewd harem shit.

What in the name of Zone of the Enders, Evangelion, Gundam, Armored Core, Claymore am I watching
The thing that stands out most about her outfit in this trailer is that, unlike every OTHER honkai star rail character, the outfits are symmetrical -- Hoyo is a HUGE fan of asymmetry in their designs (to the point of being silly, sometimes, but it works in most cases!) so Firefly's outfit being even on both sides stands out significantly, and looks really good.
Are you really complaining about male representation in a game? What even is that? Woman get fearured in a game more frequently suddenly thats a problem? Like you even called the one boy a girl even though while he was feminine he sounded and looked like a boy. What kinda mental gemnastics do you gotta pull to be able to have that kind of a problem? Especially when so many male characters in this game are absolutly awesome. Jing Yuan, Aventurine, Boothill. While he isnt playable yet freaking Sunday! All of them are incredibly good characters and look awesome even out classing many other female characters.

The elite one is called 'Personal Escort' in the EN dub, but in CN/JP it uses something more like "Royal Guard".
The one with the big armor is a dude, his just voiced by a female, in JP its voiced by a dude probably. Only on EN where every teenage character gets voiced by female.
Chads in these games are an endangered species. We got Wriothesley in Genshin, Welt/ Ratio/ Boothill in HSR, and our general/ Calcharo in WuWa

There all child soldiers. It's been confirmed that there all clones of on lady and that they all die very quickly against the propagation. So none of them grow old.
Also why one comments on firefly hair. Because only veterans live long enough to grow their hair put.
