    Hello!
Thank you very much for your clear, educational and demonstrative instructional videos. I follow them continually in order to get new insights.
Regarding close embrace, I have a question that I would like to ask to you in order to hear your thought and ideas.
Before the first dance step you connect with your partner. This is a time for both of you to take the opportunity to find an optimal embrace that feels comfortable for both of you. Sometimes when I do this process, this nice tight embrace (with a clear contact between our chests similar to a hug) is not achieved but instead the partner leaves some air (some or a few cm) between our chests.
Normally the pressure is mostly controlled by the follower as she lean into the leaders chest which is offered in the fist action. ( I also dance as a follower sometimes and my target is a clear and nice hug with no air in between the chests)
The air between the chests creates a feeling that we are not connected and it creates uncertainties in the hole dance. Difficulties occur i.e. starts sequence and also in the walk in the dance direction, for example.
Do you have any tips on how to solve this type of embrace to achieve a good connection anyhow?
My own thought about this is whether it can be solve by increasing the leaders frame pressure from the side towards the partner's center. This means that on the open side you press lightly against the center of the follower and on the closed side you increase the pressure by increasing the pressure of your biceps against the ribs of the follower?
What is your opinion on this problem?
    Kind regards Magnus Olsson

Really great tips. First time I’ve heard some of this. I like the idea of keeping your head in one position during ochos and molinete but my teacher said to turn your head in the direction you’re moving. This was too much moving for me.
