Rough Spring Weather In Grindavík On A Rafnar 1100

We took the Rafnar 1100 out on exercise around Grindavík. Joining an Arun Class owned by the SAR-team for pre-summer training. Weather was perfect for a great day out at sea.

would love to see how he handle in the brake surf waves ....2 to 3 meter waves are avarage winter waves at Iceland 5 to 6 what icelandic fisher man are used to work in while we just keep our nose up to the strom and wait when the waves are 8 to 12 meters tall ...Just seeing video of this boat in calm weather with just wind waves ...of course it is just a small boat for close to shore work but he have to handle Breaking surf waters if he should be used as a rescuer ...my opinion good sport boat fine Whalewatching boat lesser working boat and has noting more to offer then the RIB boats Fast beautiful and thats it
