I am 53 yrs old. These LDS Youth videos are keeping me afloat. :) I guess age is relative. Very positive messages that bring hope and make me smile. There is truth here. Thank you Elder Bowen.
This is so true. I've suffered with an addiction since I was a young girl, and I'm turning 19 next month. I've tried so hard to be so clean, but there were a few months where I fell away from the gospel and just let myself sin. I talked to the Branch President today and he and I set a goal for getting back on track by September, the next time we do baptisms for the dead. I'm so grateful for this gospel and everything Heavenly Father has done for me.
I also suffered from an addiction a couple years ago, that only lasted for a few months, but even after I repented and separated myself from the temptation, I still felt unclean. I told my mother what happened and after more thoughtful repentance and scripture reading, pondering and personal revelation, I feel that I am now truly on my way to cleanliness. The Atonement is the ultimate blessing Christ has given us. :)
I love Mormon Messages for Youth. If you just drop the "th" in the last word, then it becomes more personally meaningful. It becomes Mormon Messages for YOU.
Even though we do not understand how our Divine Redeemer brought about the Atoning Sacrifice, we indeed know it affects us for good as we have repented and left behind us our bad habits, and our sins of commission and omission. I am most grateful for the Influence of the Redemptive Love of God in my life. It really works and makes our purification possible.
We often forget that once we feel the amazing power of forgiveness from our Father in Heaven, we have to actually forgive ourselves, which is SO hard to do. I have learned that once we're forgiven, God doesn't want us to remember it. Christ suffered for those sins so we could be happy and useful for Him. If we allow Satan to prevent us from moving on, it's as if Christ suffered in vain. Christ didn't suffer just so we could still be miserable. He suffered so we could be happy. I love Him!
MormonMessagesYouth On Wednesday I an moving away from the house that I have lived in for the majority of my life. Watching these videos and videos from ***** makes me happy and make me feel at peace. Thank you. 😊
I know this to be true! I've fought an addiction since i was about 12, i'm 22. Many times i thought that i'd overcome it, that i was free. i even went to the temple and served a mission. I realized that i hadnt overcome. the last year or so since i've been back from my mission has been the hardest. and i think thats because i wanted to be clean more than i ever had before. Tomorrow i will go back to the temple after not having gone in for almost 3 years. I know that the atonement cleanses all!
I love how he mentions the Idaho Falls Temple. It's been under renovation for 2 years and will be re-dedicated on June 4th, 2017. It is such a beautiful temple.
I love this message. Though personally I find myself in the category of realizing that I have never truly repented because I continue to repeat past mistakes, and I am unable to forgive myself.
Repentance is sure with the savior, but not with people. Repentance does almost nothing with the people around us. They know what we've done and it's impossible for them to forget.
Beautiful cinematography, the effect is truly visually stunning. However, no matter how noble the original intentions of the message, belief in God is unwarranted, and all sin, or ideas of good and evil, are imaginary guilt-causing constructs of the false idea of morality, developed naturally through evolution. I am not Mormon but I absolutely LOVE these messages

Can be replaced with light
Be reclaimed and upon Christ cast
Your sins unto new life
