I just installed mine on my Aircooled Vanagon, altough i aint got a digital Clock yet i still get a pretty good view to where im at. Where is the danser zone really go look out for, when is it too low or too high?

Glad it helped! Its good piece of mind seeing an actual value of oil pressure vs. waiting for the dreaded light to come on. Regarding the shovel. I actually just purchased cheap conduit mounts at Home Depot for like a buck a piece. They have a hole in the bottom center and then the u shaped channel is perfect for placing the shovel into. I secure the top with tamper resistant screws so no one will steal it. Good luck!

Is this a 1.9l or 2.1?
1.9!that was rebuild as a 2.1L by a shop that n Asheville by the previous owner.
