Thank you Christy! And one more question: can you give me the link of the star war template? Do I have to zoom out the storm trooper face template to use to stencil on the cake?
+My Tran Oh sorry, looks like my link is broken here's another one -- www.dropbox.com/s/mgy2mnz2andgr2b/IMG_1215.JPG?dl=0 I don't remember the exact size template I used, but it was close to full 8x10 page then I cropped it down a bit to fit on the cake.
Yes there is black gel coloring you can buy, it is also better to add coco to the buttercream and gel then let it sit for a couple of hours. The color will deepen over time.
My cake was an 8 inch cake and 3 inches high. I did trim off some of the top of the trooper cause he didn't fit on all the way. I will add a link for the buttercream. It's really easy to make. Tastes good too.
Got it, thank you. It seems easy. Let's see if I can do this lol I found the video or your buttercream. Now how do you make it black? Is there black coloring that I can purchase at Michaels?
Thank you for your response. I did print landscape but maybe you have the exact measurements I should print? What size are your cake pans and the size of your pictures? Im going to try and make this on Sunday morning for my son who turns 8. Thank you in advance. And can you share your recipe for the buttercream...looks so perfect
