If you're a true arctic fan you'd appreciate the band's maturity with the way they make songs now and the way they perform them. It shouldn't always be like those songs in their first album, second, etc. It has always and should be incomparable with one another.

Why do people always complain about this song being played fast? Did you miss their fist two albums where a good number of the songs were fast? Plus the speed suits this song really well. And it's better than when they take their older songs and play 'em slow and way better than if they played this song slower than it was recorded.
and did u notice he doesnt put an effort in this performance to make his voice more clean and soothing like he always does now...the voice was familiar to the voice in the olden days.

They accidently started fast, and once you start with a speed, there's nothing you can do, OR if they use a metronome which i doubt they use, they had it wrongly set up
This was before they even had it on an album. It was just a song they played before they finalized it. This was recorded in 2012, and I'm sure this happened early 2012, a whole year before they released it on album
It’s really Alex’s fault. He sets the tempo. If he slows down, the entire band will slow to match him. You can kinda hear them pushing and pulling. It’s just that type of song that will always either be played way too fast or just a tad bit too slow. When these guys have a few more years under their belt, it will most likely get easier to play.

Duarte Santos yeah i agree i think matt was the one who set the tempo, and alex followed. and of course once u start u can’t go back haha. if u do try to slow down it sounds weird especially while performing. while practicing, maybe, but this song is definitely one that’s hard to find the exact “right” tempo for i guess. props to the nick and jamie for being able to keep up though.

They play it differently for live sets, alex plays the guitar differently too and there is probably other stuff but their other live set versions sound more similar to this than the studio recording. Although this is still probably the fastest ive heard them play it.
When they dont have TV or broadcasted shows, like their BRITs or KROQ performances, they play a lot of their stuff faster. Which is weird. Do I Wanna know and this are played at breakneck speed when that is the case, but songs like Dancefloor, that they always used to play fast get slower almost. Its weird.

Mexico City is about 7,500 feet high. When you're not used to it, it takes a couple weeks to recover from the oxygen deficit and adapt to it. That's why bands usually suck when they perform there, or clearly show symptoms of air hunger.

En esa gira se presentaron un día después en Guadalajara, donde tuve la oportunidad de ir a verlos, explicaron los contratiempos que tuvieron en DF y aquí fueron simplemente magníficos :D a mi me gustaban pero después de ese día los amé y ahora que los vi en el Corona Capital me traume aún más, son a mi punto de vista la mejor banda de esta generación
