- In the early days of the invasion, Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine fought back a Russian armoured column. Since then, it has suffered nightly Russian airstrikes and shelling, with dozens of civilians killed and hundreds injured. I saw a video of a Ukrainian infantry platoon carrying an amazing array of anti-tank weapons from all over the world. They looked happy.

That's right, but he probably meant that the falling of Kharkiv will add a lot of problems. If Putin takes Kharkiv, he will proclaim a parallel republic there. The same way as they did 100 years ago when the Soviets proclaimed the Ukrainian Soviet Republic in Kharkiv, which opposed the Ukrainian People's Republic in Kyiv (which collapsed due to lack of support of the West). History is repeating.

I was an international student and Kharkiv was basically my second hometown, seeing this breaks my heart, it wasn't perfect but it was a beautiful city.

I'm from the US, and arrived in Ukraine, Kiev on the 23rd. I chose to go to UKR because I wanted to save my friends. We faced a lot of problems along the way, we saw some bombs going off in Kiev city (we were far away) and nearby, people desperately trying to get out of the country, intense firefights, civilian and military vehicles destroyed, military aircraft destroyed and on fire, some places abandoned and/or destroyed. We also saw some dead people, we helped some people who were injured, we took some with us. I was able to do these things because I had some contacts in the region and they helped me there. We cut several paths and arrived in Hungary on the 28th, and at the moment we are in Germany (my friends and I). The four people who came with us chose another path.
We're better. While we were traveling, we recorded some bizarre stuff that deserves to be shared with the world, I'll probably post it on YT. .

My prayers are with yours from Moscow, Russia. Do not get brainwashed though. Russia is not that bad. The story is almost like Canada trying to join Soviet block back that time and US starting war to change the regime. And of course the US did much worse in Iraq just for oil interest. Technically not true. Kharkiv could fall and the Ukrainians could still defend the Dnieper River. But the fact that Kharkiv hasn't fallen by day 15 is something no one predicted, and that has to come down the will of defenders like this one.
The truest statement in the video is "The Russians are fighting just like 1941". Nothing has been made clearer in this war than Russia is a 2nd rate power unprepared for modern war.
