This is a refactored part of my video "How To Make Balls Constantly" and mostly aimed for beginners who struggle with aiming. Don't worry - in the future I will produce more complex topics again. Enjoy!
Sharivari this whole time I’ve been using the ghost ball method wrong, especially on cuts where you need to hit the ball thin. This whole time I’ve been aiming straight but not aiming on the right spot!
This is the best ghost ball explanation I've seen because it shows you how it fails if not entirely understood. Thanks Sharivari
Deine Erklärungen und die Grafik dazu sind sehr durchdacht und hervorragend vorgetragen. Selbst für Anfänger ist das sehr gut verständlich. Weiter so, bin schon neugierig auf das nächste Thema. Dank dir!!!
One of the best ghost ball explanation out there.
Thank you!
Can you do some other system like shadow system or shaft.. thnks men ur the best..
Very helpful. I can’t wait to try it
amazing presentation of the ghost ball method. you're the best pool sensei.
Thank you for your excellent video.
My friend uses ghost ball and he's a super good pool player. His in the 600 fargo category. And his aim is actually insane he really doesn't miss
Thanks-I always struggled for a fixed point to aim using ghost ball!
best explanation on how to hit the center point of the ghost ball.
Ur channel is growing fast
Yes indeed. Great to see that.
great video i jus need to pot more balls constantly so i will work on this one
i started to pot more balls after that great video and gives me a sense of approaching the board more gently
@@rasbling1288 That's great to hear!
it happens to me. i keep doing ghost ball for just 2 weeks and now i acquired the automatic aiming. it just click one night. thanks
Excellent explication
This was brilliant, thank you mate 👍
Thanks Sharivari 🎱👍
Please Sharivari in the future would make a video on center to edge (CTE) - thanks.
nice video
First of all, great videos!! Could you do one about shaft aiming method. Would be great and lots of us would highly appreciated it. :)
I have to do some research and use and test it before. But I put it on my list.
On more angled cut shots you can no longer extend the line from the ghost ball center to the object ball to see the aim point as that line will now actually be off into space.
That is true. But your body will get used to the whole picture itself you see with the cue ball in front of you and the object ball shifted behind it.
So the point on the object ball is just for small cut shots and especially beginners.
Good Video. Can you make one explaining center to edge? I've tried to understand it but I am still not "in the know". Thanks
tips are good for everyone - see you soon
Sharivari you have good content.do u sell dvds? It seems u have everything on line but maybe u have more detailed material on dvds. Thanks for any info
Hi Robert. Currently not. The additional content like drills, videos, podcasts and bonus lessons are available on my Patreon page. You get everything for 3$ a month.
This just proves I've been using ghostball wrong 😂😅
Great video. Grettings
could u make a brief introduction to the other systems, including center to edge, shadows, shaft, etc. just do some simple demos, please. thx
Thank you
Hi I have a question. Since the ghost ball (in reality) is in 3D, would the rounder part of the CB ball kind of hit the OB first and make the shot thicker than we imagine?
Hi T, then ghost ball is actually 2D since the CB and the OB are always level on the same plane, so only a tiny spot on the equator of both balls can ever make contact. The ghost ball system automatically compensates for the different contact points on the OB that vary with cut angle. All you have to do is "see" where you want your CB to hit the OB. I hope this explanation can help.
Thanks - great tip
Very helpfull!!
What I would actually advise to beginners is that you should focus much more on your technique rather than aiming systems. The truth is, many many people naturally know (or learn very fast how to) aim correctly but fail to execute the shot properly. So put your technique on the 1st place.
Btw, I'm not saying aiming systems are bad - they are useful, especially on tough shots where you can't see the angle very well (blind angles), I'm just suggesting good (IMO) priorities.
I agree.
Sharivari how does Shane put side spin on the cue when he is using the edge of the shaft to aim at the ball, since the cue is not center ball, wouldn’t that screw things up?
shit now it makes sense
Do you aim from the back of the pocket or to the front of the pocket?
Front.
Thank you sir, goodnight.
I wanna learn 2 rail diamond system
I was taught the " ghost ball " method of aiming when I was 15 years old ,...after I picked up a cue a year earlier. My teacher called it the " 1 1/8 "system " because the pool balls are 2 1/4" in diameter and divided in half you get 1 1/8 ".
Every shot is a straight in shot ,.....
your alignment and cue/stroke delivery is aimed at the center of the ghost ball perfectly (1 1/8" )from object ball ,.. the ball should be pocketed.
