Not surprised at all how male dominating tmkoc atmosphere was because Asit remarks on priya. Most importantly look at the characters of tmkoc, none of them is a working woman except 1 but she is also a small business owner. If you have seen many episodes you can clear see the marrow minded mindset and patriarchy

Nope. The characters were took from original Tarak Mehta's comic which was in Gujarati language. Not defending Asit Modi, he's an ass but you are on the wrong here
Jenifer did an great job of coming out and talking and letting people know wat goes behind a show and how artists are treated by the producers and the team , this is surely sad , a show which we grown up watching enjoyed it to the core has so much dark reality behind it

Its difficult to work in toxic environment. I have experienced. Lecturers were treated like dogs especially women in the college where I was working. For some years I tolerated , it spoiled my personal life, mental health everything. After a few years I resigned. Especially women suffer in such work environment. Tarak whose producer earned in crores treated actors like this mainly women, really sad.

I have just one question though: why didn't Mr. Dilip Joshi stand up for any of his colleagues who were having a bad time? He comes across as a man of principle who would at least speak up... But even when his screen 'best friend' quit the serial, there was utter silence from him ... Is this because it would affect his image???
because he would think the audience is assuming he’s uncomfortable on set and he has to stay in the show to satisfy cause then viewers get mad when actors get replaced
Tmkoc's lifeline is dilip sir...ig he has an emotional connect with show...saying such things by him may lower the trp very much because he has whole audience only behind him

Some comments down below is the reason why women can't speak up or is nervous to speak up. Why do you male people think a woman can't be strong and confident when talking about what she has faced. I think we as humans should celebrate together when a man or a woman who has faced sexual harassment is strong enough to confess of course im not saying crying is weakness im just stating that everyone has different ways of expressing their emotions and giving thier testimonials

Not having an Internal Complaints Committee amounts to gross violation of law. The production house is strictly liable under POSH Law. Also, creation of an ICC just for the sake of it by appointing the members who are close to the owners or Directors will amount to abuse of power only and will make the production house liable for their arbitrariness.

Jatin closed door and didn't let me go out of shoot, it's as good as kidnapping... all these things comes under sexual harassment...hope I come clear and loud... how many times am I supposed to repeat same things in interviews again and again
