- Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal aka Mrs Roshan Sodhi from Taarak Mehta has filed a complaint against Asit Modi, Project Head Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj of sexual harassment at the workplace. The actress, who was part of the show for 15 years, has accused Producer Asit Modi of making sexual advances, flirty comments against her. She also revealed what conspired on the last day (March 7, 2023) on the sets. I used to think that her husband was in the wrong for not letting her work, but at the same time I felt that it must have been for the good of their family. By listening to her I remember my working days. Management treated us, assistant professors of engineering college like dogs. Same type of harassment by HODs. My mom was serious, in ICU, to get 3 days leave I had to alter all my classes and labs then he granted leave. Sitting in hospital I was calling my colleagues to take up my classes, they were already having tight schedule still somehow some of them agreed with a condition that once I comeback I have to take their class, I was already in stress, after coming back had to go through more stress. My little daughter used to fell ill frequently, sometimes did vomiting in school. I had to beg them for leave, altering my classes. Even when I was heavily sick i have worked to save leave when my daughter needs. HODs used to get alcohol during college lunch events, used to pass loose comments on ladies, whenever lady staff wore saree they would stare at us vulgurly. Everyone including me tolerated all these because we were insecure we don't get job anywhere else. 1000s of engineers pass and come out of college every year, not everyone gets job. Management gives peanuts and hire lecturers so they are least bothered about the faculties. We employees suffer. Finally I resigned one day and sitting at home now. With frustration I wrote a bad google review about that college mentioning everything in detail. They threatened to sue me. Finally my husband asked me to delete it and let go. Speaking against big organization is not easy nor against such reputed production house, she is really daring. Her career is in danger and she knows it. No one likes the one who speaks truth.
