Love canal street, brings back memories! Love Manhattan so much it’s been such a long time since I was last there ! We used to get the subway to Brighton beach and walk along to Coney Island and people watch ! We used to alternate NY following year San Francisco ( jan holiday ) 5 nights then 9 nights wdw or Disney land lol
Bananas Foster is a dessert created in New Orleans, just like beignets were. An authentic Bananas Foster is a simple banana split that consists of a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a banana sliced in half (the long way) and placed on the sides of the ice cream. The bananas are sautéed in a banana liqueur and rum combination, along with brown sugar and butter. Instead of a topping, such as chocolate sauce, the ice cream and banana slices are drenched in more of the banana liqueur and rum sauce. At the end of your trip, it would be interesting to hear of Jess’s parents overall experiences. Did they like it, would they go back, etc.?
Hey, the ice cream was amazing 😍 Jess parents really enjoyed the trip, they were not to sure how they would feel with the flight etc as they have never done it before but they found it all ok. They also loved the city. If anything we struggled to keep up with them 🤣🤣
@@t-jtravels Glad to hear, as NYC can be overwhelming to people, so it’s nice to hear when people enjoy the location they are visiting. I love NY, just wish I could properly afford it.
Hey both, loving the series. Plenty off walking. I reckon on these big city breaks that you should have a step count pop-up in the corner at certain times.
I did so much walking last time I was in NY I had to go to Footlocker and buy two new pairs of trainers in a size bigger as my feet were so swollen 🙈 xx
Hey it”s Gary here. My wife and I love watching your v blogs Please keep them coming. We have booked Orlando for May 2025 for us and our twin boys. My wife Amanda wants to know. Once again keep up they good work
I’m super excited about my upcoming trip in November after watching your vlogs! Thank you so much for sharing 🥳 Would you recommend walking the Brooklyn Bridge both directions or taking the ferry one way or the other? If so, would you walk across from the Brooklyn or Manhattan side? )If the weather isn’t already super cold we will walk both ways but if not!!?!?!)
Hey, November will come quick. We would definitely recommend walking over the Brooklyn bridge and back over it. We have never done the manhattan bridge but enjoy the Brooklyn walk
Thank you for sharing, I didn’t have time to go the the ice cream factory, it’s on my list, also as there was a Starbucks next to my hotel I went for what I know every time. 🫣 next time I’m going to try other drinks we don’t have in the uk.
