Great tool box tour, looks like you’re all set up. The matco double edge screw extractors are rebranded German made tools from Knipex 9R4719003 Rennsteig. They in the must have arsenal.
As I understand, the twist drills are made by Grey Pneumatic. Now they're only selling them as Matco. Not cheap, as you said. Once GP starts selling them, I'm planning on buying the index. Nice tools in the box. Really.
Thank you soo much. It been 6 years in the making lol. I might do a tool haul here in the next day. Snap on comes by today and I'm expecting some goodies!
The bit box is great. I pieced it together from two other Milwaukee cases to suit my needs and hold 99% of the bits I need. I love that dewalt 3/16. I've used it another dozen times since I posted the video and it's still going strong
Great video ! I've been in this industry for last 3 years and starting to get into buying all my tools I use on a day to day basis. What would you recommend to a new rv technician as far as how to take to the learning process
That's good to hear! As far as the learning process goes, best I can offer is, dont beat yourself up when you make a mistake. Obviously you gotta learn from it but dont take it too personally. Their going to happen and I still make them. It's how we grow. In this industry, the tech side is always changing. This is why I love youtube. I search how to videos all the time and about 50% of the time I find what I need. If not, I call the manufacturer and pick their brains lol. It may take an hr to get a human but they can be helpful. Also, if there is an area you feel need to know more of, look it up on youtube or google and learn the crap out of it. I still watch electrical videos, repair videos, plumbing videos and whatever else I think may be related to what I'm doing. Please let me know if you want a specific video on a certain topic or anything like that. I'd love to help out however I can.
I have been in the rv trade for 8 years and my tool selection looks all most the same. I allso have smaller 12 volt drill that I use everyday. How do you like the cordless wrench?does it have enough power to remove lugs nuts? I all so use a cordless & corded multi tool (that I use alot. ) What other tools are on your purchase plans?
The 3/8 impact is strong enough to get most lugs off. The 3/8 ratchet doesn't have much break away torque but you can wrench on it as hard as you can to break them loose. It does have pretty good torque when tightening though. I plan on getting power probe, and some zero offset ratchet wrenches for some of the hitches I install.
thanks for posting dude, cheers from a tech in ontario canada

Nice set up...What’s the part number on that magnetic finger?
You know I'm not sure. It was on the package but I tossed that out almost immediately lol
mark gipson it’s all good, things like that are times you never knew you needed till you NEED it lol.
No calk gun or wheel seal puller?
Not a personal one anyway. We several caulk guns and one of the other guys has the snap on seal puller.
