19:48 “Should’ve been dead on a Sunday morning, banging my head!” Such a hard hitting chorus. That crowd at the front was feelin’ it. Good shit. As a metalhead, I’m not afraid to say I’ve always loved Creed, always will.
Me too bro they way they would alter there songs live was awesome too like here say I was using that solo that was cut from the album same when bound and tied had that filter effect at the end
Scott's voice is so on point the whole time it's amazing... and Mark... man Mark is simply incredible... Brian and Phillips also on point... love the agression in this performance..
Can confirm, he absolutely has. I went to the Creed show in Charlotte on 7/24 and Stapp has power left in his voice! Say I was awesome as was What If. The entire set was awesome, but specifically those 2 songs where he has to belt it out, he did amazing on those songs!
Its weird to remember Creed before memes and the excess. That first album was crazy good and came out of nowhere. Could say the same about the first Nickelback album.
This concert their playing songs from the second album human clay as well. All the albums I thought hit the spot growing up, and still do today. All 4 albums I have for years, some since the beginning, 97. I skip the ballads that got played on radio, but I can still go back to them and enjoy them from time to time. Nickelback as well. I don’t follow the nickelback band wagon anymore then the creed. Nickelback had good 90’s albums as well. Then you kinda haft to pick through the newer ones to pick out the heavy songs, cuz they started changing up with more genres for more radio play and exposure. Even though I don’t get into the pop ballads, I want knock on them for writing them, and the nickelback fans who happened to really like and enjoy them all. I just prefer my heavier, raunchier nickelback sound.
So many creed haters out there, who follow the hate trend and jump on the band wagon, cuz they think this band was just a couple rock ballads they heard on the radio. I wish they just look up one of their earlier live shows and watch them jam. Hell, just listen to a damn album without judging. Got their my own prison album in 97 when I was only 10, still a creed fan to this day.
I have to fight off the Creed haters all the time man. Thankfully my dad and uncle got me and my brothers down the right path when we were young. Love Creed.
I feel all the hate they got was a blessing and a curse at the same time. A blessing cos it pushed them to give it their all and prove them wrong. For example by writing songs like "Bullets" which is a banger. A curse cos I always wondered what would have happened to Scott Stapp if he didn't get so much hate. It's one of those "What if"
@@mikec2197 I can totally relate.. not so much anymore but back in 98, 99 sophomore and senior years in high-school was a constant source of conflict in my life 😂. Like I didn't have enough already..

Something I just noticed for people in 2024. 3:04 Tremonti plays a rift that eventually goes into his own Tremonti album "You Waste Your Time".. Kinda crazy. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not
I’m a big Creed fan and love Stapp’s voice. His live vocals sound likeit does on the albums. Creed is an underrated and unfairly hated band. I would not put him on Cornell’s level though. Chris Cornell was an unmatched talent.
@@JadeLevine-iv8qithere is a difference between energy and talent though. Cornell, sure he definitely had more talent, but that’s because he’s one of the goats. He had a lot more sentimental tracks that are just a lot different than Creed’s type of songs. I think in terms of energy and belting out notes, a fun comparison would be prime Scott Strapp vs Layne Staley.
This is when I saw Creed with My BF Toni in Baltimore & DC Yes twice back to back. Mark, wow, no words!!!!! You had to be there! He did all kinds of special Riffs & mesmerized me & still does! Tremonti Rocks, Alterbridge, Creed. Amazing performers who hold their own & all together! Rock On 🎸🎤🥁
