currently, pink and darker shades of red is distributed among havoc character except encore. so zhezhi could have havoc element.
xiangliyao is a bit harder guess. that kind of blue color is shared between yangyang (aero) and yuanwyu (electro) as well as shared with the npcs that have connection to the government/military of jinzhou. but from his hair ends that turned pale/white, he could be either spectro or glacio.

I don't think we should expect any new 4 stars till 1.3-1.4, also Jihnsi and Changli are the bigshots of Jinzhou, so them having flashy animations is understandable, we shouldn't expect those lvl of animation unless the characters are of similar status in different city or organisation.

@@FantasyBreaker Its Kurogames and given they annnounced this two as a 5 star char. the animation is definitely gonna be good.
Anyways on Yao given the way they present him the in picture, emphasizing that robotic arm it will definitely have big role on his animation and given he is definitely confirmed to be gunner because we don't have a 5 star gunner yet, theirs also a big chance his combat animation would be a mix of close and midrange probably like hyperreal Lee in PGR.
Zhezhi is going the one be confusing, definitely a retrifier her animation skill/ult would probably be like Hanying in PGR but rather than instrument she paints.
I like their design, but they definitely look to be less elaborate than Changli and Jinhsi. I'm ok with it, I imagine they are less important characters, but the design is really cute on Zhezhi, and Xian looks cool without being super edgy, which is why I didn't resonate with Genshu.
See, I thought these were 4-stars because in the top right corner there is a 4-star looking symbol and I was thinking that they'd swap the standard banner characters or something. Which I hope they don't because I still need Calcharo and Lingyang! Also I REALLY really hope Jiyan comes back for their anniversary or something, I'm so so salty I missed him. I played when the game launched but skipped the first month because of work AHHHHHH

If anything I learned from PGR, you can't assume one's element based on his/her clothes. Look at Lee Hyperreal, who is blue overall yet Fire element and Lucia: Dawn and Lucia: Plume which had red color schemes, are Lightning and Ice respectively LMAO.
I could see Zhezhi end up being a god-tier support

Zhezhi is probably Havoc because of the pink and the fact that we don't have any 5 star Havoc users (aside from MC). Not sure though...

I think they will be havoc and glacio respectively, just because of the fact that we’ve had as for now aero, electro and spectro, and in the near future fusion with chang li. I think it makes sense. After 1.2 they will probably begin repeating elements for the banners.

I actually appreciate that Kuro isn't dropping new 4 stars with 2 new 5 stars. I feel like the game would just get too saturated too fast with characters if there's new 4 stars + 5 stars every patch. That was a problem I had with Genshin, I'd appreciate if Kuro paces the release of new 4 stars, then we'd know they're truly important to the lore/on par with 5 stars in terms of their kit/use bc they will actually have a reason to be there and aren't just there for filler content.
Definitely excited for Xiangli and Zhezhi though, I love the artist aesthetic and if Xiangli is an electro gunslinger/ranged unit I'd pull him for sure 😭🤚

based on my analysis, the character theme is creation. Zhezhi is a painter while Xiangli is a mechanic researcher.
why's xiangli yao making me feel wuthering waves will connect stuff related with space rn- like it sounds exciting yet nice,and the painter girl looks cute,idk if i can wait for my waiting changli

Xiangli Yao looks stunning. Maybe a gun user or a sword user. Looks very humble. And I would enjoy having him on my rosta I think. Tbh what is selling me with characters is the animations! Those that have a nice feel. Jinshi I just sniped with 25 pulls. Her animations are 5 star easy. I still have plenty to get changli. Trying to snipe jinshi weapon too! I just want to gurantee changlis weapon as thats the char I want more!
Once we see more we can decide. Will they be new dps or supports is what we will need to know also!

I hope Xiangli is a gunslinger, but he feels like a knight and sword user to me. Zhezi, i want her to be a catalyst or at most, a sword user with calmer slower attacks. In my opinion, we have quite a few spectro so she could be aero or havoc. I dont think her colours fit much of the other elements unless her whole painting thing has some backstory that changes the colour of her attacks or something. She feels like a healer or support. I cant imagine her being attack buffer. She might be more Aoe but maybe thats because i get sucrose vibes from her and what her power will be. My bet is she is a support or at most, a sub dps or meat shield. (meat shield, what the hell am i thinking??!) Hopefully she brings a kind of coordinated attack power, but thats just my opinion. I have so much to say but i dont think yall want to hear it to im ending here
Tbh i prefer zhezhi over changli. But i m not a degen dude. Both look rlly cool. Hopefully great character event stories with them.

My gut feeling tells me Zhezhi will be Anemo character based on 4 star of Genshin - Sucrose. Same shyness, she was also interested in crafting and they look similar
Not really tbh, Sucrose is heavily invested in science and experiments whereas Zhenzhi is into Art and specifically painting, two VERY different things. I do think they fall into the same troupe personality wise, but other then that they aren’t really the same

I'd say rectifer that used brushes in her animations seems like the more likely scenario. Sword is not impossible either.

I think it'll be time to wait and preserve F2P resources again for a bit next patch. I'm a little curious what the dude does but unless he's amazing I'm definitely going to be holding back as us F2P can't go for every character. They definitely both look decent though.
I have a feeling that Zhezhi is going to be a Spectro support character. Not a healer, but someone that gives buffs. I wanna have a new support for my Lingyang other than Sanhua.

Hm, unsure about the designs. Zhezhis clothes are pretty and I love the color choices but I don't vibe with her overall (especially her hairstyle being a mix of a old lady cut with massive extentions and kiddo pig tails). Xiangli Yao is nice and all but a bit plain...? To me his design looks more like a 4*, tbh. If you compare his design to the recent female 5*, there's just a bit of a lackluster. And I'm worried his banner will perform bad compared, which then serves as reasoning to keep releasing female to male characters in a 4:1 ratio.
Either way, I'm relieved that I can pull for Changli without reservations now.
(and with Zhezhi between Changli and Xiangli Yao, I'll probably still be able to pull for him anyway)
