Ok it was going along well and then it threw me for a loop when Steve Spellslinger and DOOM shows up out of nowhere. I had just finished catching up with that gang yesterday.
That reminds me of my grandfather's story. He ran away from home at 15 to enlist in WW2. The dude survived the war. Got shot and stabbed and was finally marching to base to finally be discharged and go home. They made that march into a victory parade. Unfortunately for him. His mom was in the crowd. He started the march feeling like a triumphant hero returning home. His mom saw him as a runaway kid that needed punishment. Last day as a soldier and he wanted to disappear from embarrassment. The rest of the unit were stifling laughter trying to maintain stoic discipline. Hell, my great grandma didn't even want him holding a gun so she marched beside them to base carrying his rifle. The quartermaster was baffled how to ask for a rifle from an angry mom. Dude survived the horrors of war only to get his ass whooped by his mom.
Mostly a lurker of this channel as I'm kind of inbetween trying to concentrate on various things but always love it when can watch and listen to your videos. Do you accept original story submissions? I've been recently inspired to pick up writing again and figured I'd do a slight twist on the usual formula of humans being grossly underestimated and made one of a small group of humans being punished for their...hubris, I guess? I'm struggling to find the closest word to what I mean. In any case, I just finished and wanted to know what you thought.
Now it was serious. A double dog-dare. What else was left but a "triple-dare you"? And finally, the coup de grace of all dares...the sinister triple dog-dare! ~ Raphie - A Christmas Story. Here is a like and comment for the story, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful UA-cam algorithm demon, and get you the recognition you deserve.

Ah the double dog dare. So much fun and so much pain.
Is this a Steve Spellslinger story??? AWESOME!
Made me smile :)
Thank you Sir. Great story selection and tremendous narration!
For DA SKWERL and his Nest, may the reruns confuddle and hype the algorithm
A delightful story, well worth the retelling. Many thanks.
Great story; Excellent narration! Loved the story! I kept thinking, with the focus on Ricky, that Steve would show up behind Freddy! LOL!!!
Oh yes the scarest thing to encounter; the angry mom.

I feel like these characters are from a D&D campaign and this is told from the perspective of an NPC.
that was fun!😁
That was fun
All hail Ricky, our new hero!
Have you covered the spellslinger series? It's not exactly TFOS but it's a pretty fun fantasy series.
I have not but If I remember correctly the author had plans for the audio of it and only gave me permission for the one shots
@@AgroSquerrilstrange... another channel I am following is doing the whole Spellslinger series.
Many laughs 🤣
Lovely tale.
I hope there's more of Ricky and his rangers, and that Agro has/will read them
Dinner time with Squirrel
😀
By the end I was expecting him top find a worn out tamed monster, not an active giant spider.
Yea the line between hero and idiot is a thin one indeed.
For the Algorithm, for the Author(s), for the Holographic Voice!
I double dog dare you to pin this comment!
(Not really)

I do , the best way is to post in the HFY subreddit and send me a message through reddit
@@AgroSquerril Alrighty, thank you! (EDITED/DELETED: I figured out the problem, didn't realize that chat and DMs were entirely separate things.)
I'd love to hear it.
