- This video is just to let you know where I've been and why I don't post very often. Please let me know what you guys and girls want to watch in the comments.
Nobody will ever appreciate the knowledge and skill I takes to do this type of work ,absolutely first class.
Thanks . Its hard and stressful work when it going well. imagine it goes wrong....
Very nice job mate, anything you upload is always interesting to watch, Family always comes first without question. looking forward to the next upload, thank you.
Family first. That is the easy one.
I’m a retired heavy equipment mechanic from the west coast of Canada.
I just like watching this stuff because it is so extremely different from anything we have around here.
My house is heated with electric baseboard heaters and I have a free standing natural gas fireplace downstairs. My hot water tank is electric.
The systems you run in Britain (and most of the rest of the world) really intrigue me.
Glad to have you back
Thank you for watching it. I watch people like Steve Lavimoniere and tank masters doing the Oil tanks in USA thinking the same... I also watch AvE who I think was/is a heavy equipment mechanic. I would like to try that job in the summer for a week. 🙂
Always family first, just do what you can when you can. even if it's raw footage and not smoothly edited, that's fine too. Thanks for sharing and look after yourself.
it’s great to see you back pal and really grateful that your putting vids back on
i’ve learnt so much off over the years keep up the great work
good to see you back doing what you do. So much knowledge can be gained from your videos!!!
Good to have you back mate. Any video is good to see, no point flogging yourself we’ve got enough on our plate doing this job yet alone all the other joys in life (especially this time of year)
Good on you Ollie. Look after yourself first mate. Great to see you back you helped me out a lot. Great vids mate
Welcome back mate!
great to see you back 🙂
Yes your back!!
That’s some spot on work there bud!! 👍🏼😁
Great video, glad your back. Would love to see more commercial videos on UA-cam 👍
OH man I am glad you alright been along time...👍
glad you're back m8.
Family always comes first. Good to have you back tho 💪🏻
Great to hear from you again :) Put your private priorities first and we can wait, not to worry.
Good Video mate,
The vice over is good enough in my view,
It’s to watch any video longer than 30 minutes,
Very nice installation 👍💪
Family life trumps everything,
👍👍🤜
The job looks great
Nice glad you’re back at it, so many helpful videos I’ve watched
Good to have you
I love love man you are a legend
Mate family comes first I do enjoy your videos love the all the content great work keep it going cheers
Literally fault finding and how everything works from your videos by myself on jobs fast track gas engineer course really hard learning curve but you videos help so much,
Welcome back.
Family first.
Your videos are valued mate, trust me. And I respect the fact that you keep it real. Theres alot of fatigue in our industry, never mind the challenge to balance our personal relationships and responsibilities. That aside Do keep the videos coming though, upload that multimeter video asap lol
A trip down memory lane for me, moved from industrial/commercial heating to domestic 20 years ago where you never had to worry about foot prints on the customers carpets or minor water leaks. Nice work H.G
Thanks, I made the move the other way. Im enjoying it🙂
What ever you need 😃 always a pleasure to see you post anything ☺️...thanks for your time
Family first mate welcome back
Nice one mate 👍
Great to see you back on UA-cam 😃
Thanks :-)
Good to have you back. Family must come first!
I’ve only ever worked on commercial heating and plumbing systems since leaving school for an apprenticeship 16 years ago for the same company I work for today. I learn a lot and get new ideas from watching videos from yourself and others carrying out commercial work. I have my domestic gas and will hopefully be working towards my commercial gas qualifications towards the end of this year. Keep up the good work!
Thank you. I really enjoy my work at the moment. 🙂
Your videos are valued, trust me. And I respect the fact that you keep it real. Do keep the videos coming though, upload that multimeter video ASAP my friend... lol
It appears we have switched roles. I went from commercial but prefer the technical fault finding of domestic.
Plus its warm in winter 😊
Your videos have been invaluable and ive nearly watched them all.
Thank you so much for making them and i hope you succeed in your path in life.
Thank you
Thank you for commenting,
Cracking job their plant room looks amazing . That must have cost a few quid
I always use the flamco auto air vets now rather than the ones you have those suckers leak at least you have fitted lever valves great job and good to have the channel back 👍
Thank you. I will use flamco from now on. I even like the penny washers they make Bss still sell them.
Nice, looking forward to the next vid. Hope that it's perfect
I do maintenance in set ups like this so it's nice to see how it's done.
Mate,
You’re so right.
Family life is so important.
Step off and get a the break you deserve 👍
It's been a great couple of years.
Top job
Would love to see more commercial stuff 😀
Family first buddy good on you.
Boiler rooms industrial I miss working on them , Iam so happy you’re back you gave me the buzz to go back to plumbing
Thanks. Are you still doing it?
@@HeatingGeek yes not so much industrial but lots of rental maintenance
Definitely Comercial domestic is quite limited and very routine work and most of all as we fitted in the last few years it on 10 years also warranty schemes, although manufacturers will fail the warranty due to MI not been complied with anyhow definitely commercial mate and drop us a link regarding the homepage. It be interesting to work with you guys even part time. As you know it’s crazy busy at the moment all the best again
Well nice install mate
Thanks :-)
Family is always first!
Thanks again
Domestic stuff is what I prefer to be honest. Glad to see you back. 👍
We can learn a lot from commercial too
BOSS great work mate , best engineer on UA-cam prob in country ...;)
Thanks. Your going to give me an ego ;-)
Family first mate but any spare minute just post video as it goes, screw editing we engineers can get head round it👍 commercial stuff most welcome - personally I'm new to it and would like to learn as much as possible so little video some time to time could help 💪
I don't care for fancy editing, most vids I watch are something shot on an iPhone or similar and minimal computer work to get it up on UA-cam. Love the commercial stuff as well as domestic.
Hi mate, glad to hear you’re back I know exactly where are you coming from myself tried to do some social media stuff it was just not worth it sacrifice the time in and the father to 9 kids trust me focusing on what’s important in life and on what does actually Earn a living, I was said until I get enough money to pay for my expenses I will never do social media pictures of work that I do more than enough just as a business card. Anyway enough said your videos are the best sad to hear what you said, but there you go, my advice is to prioritise all the best mate
You've been a busy boy. 🙂
Is my only way to relieve the stress…
Yes to commercial!
Not many people asked for commercial tbh. Ill SLip a bit in here and there
Not just a gas engineer your very talented and clever engineer!
I don't know about that. I just love my job. :)
nice job
Thank you! Cheers!
Your family and kids only grow up once enjoy it 👍
First class very tidy fam first you legand. I love my family and like fitting pipe not a bad place to be you know life is good
Exactly. "Keep the balance" is probably the hardest bit of the job. :-)
I'm glad your back mate but understand the family is 1st.. could you not have someone to do your editing for you? Maybe get an editor on fivver? They are freelance and you maybe able yo just send them everything tell them what you want and they will do it all for you and send you back the finished edited video. Once you find the right person and after a few videos sending to them they will know what you want and for what they charge it would be worth your while spending working or with family.. worth checking out..
Hope all is well oli!
Would be good to see some more videos, have you tried the Viessmann 200-W cascades?
Nah, I have done the training, I should give them a go tbh.
❤❤
I dread to think what something like that costs, what is it all supplying? Looks awesome
An office and warehouse.
🤘😎🤘
Looks mint. Not seeing AECV at point of entry, assuming using one next to boilers without labelling or test point?
AECV, test point and solenoid are installed at entry point to roof top. Im sure you see it in the video. there is also a purge point on the back of the jig as someone else said it was missing. :-)
Missing your videos, hope you are OK.
Hope you have been watching them :-)
Come back and more videos!
7:40 shame to lag it looks lovely 👍
I Agree.... I always think it looks better unlagged.
Must prefer commercial boilers !!
No uploads in a while (3 months) Hope all is well? I've been following the channel for quite a long time. Your wiring series was the best explained on here.. On a par with JW John Ward. How's the plant room installation? I know UA-cam is not your full time job and you have probably been busy with work. Just wanted to say we miss you!
Yeh, work work work . Things are good and I have a video coming out on Sunday. 8pm
@HeatingGeek Hope you and your family had a great Xmas.. and happy new year, Don't forget family time. Kids grow up so fast, and women need attention now and again. Keep up the great work.
@@waynenixon729 your completely right. :-~)
will there be more commercial videos? im currently doing my domestic qualifications but want to move onto commercial
possibly do a video on tools needed for commercial if theres many new ones you need to buy?
Just bigger versions of the same stuff. :-)
Looks neat enough, but elbows on heating, square tees, no purge points on gas,
Purge point at entry to building and on jig;-). system was originally 1 1/2'' and now 2-2 1/2" so I think the elbows will be ok. Square tees??
Why does this industry make it impossible for an adult to get an NVQ in plumbing, , i love this sort of stuff, i wonder how many competent people like me are frozen out of this sector. . . . .thanks for posting, it is very helpful
Plumbing and heating is a nightmare trade. I hate it. It's hassle and never ending problems.
@@proteus1 I like problems, , food for the brain 👍
@@danielhopwood5985 honestly mate love your enthusiasm but try a month in this trade youl think differently we constantly get problems jobs never go as planned customers now want the world for nothing i get home 9-10 pm up at 6 to do it all again
@@shaunconnor7525 i can do most jobs in a domestic setting except fit a boiler, , , i used to fit gas meters, gas fires and cookers over 15 years ago as well, , , ive always enjoyed problems.
sorry to see the amount of hours you do, thats not healthy, 👍
@@danielhopwood5985 you haven't got a clue. I started in the 80's
First
No valve before pump and 3 port
If you look at 5.56 you can see all the valves. Everything has valves.
Big calorifiers please
I have some gas water heaters coming up sometime and hopefully some buffers attached to calorifiers if we win the job.
Hii.... I just got commercial license, I want more experience on commercial areas, I live in West London
I got a job with a local commercial company. I suggest you do that
Thank you for Ur reply, how do I get more details about that, thank you
@@rameshkumarsomasundaram6468 If you live in west london see who does your local council work. GEM, Oakray, BSW, Kiea, Robert Heath, K and T or Morgan Sindall are just a few companies that I know work in London. Have you ever worked for any of them before.
@@HeatingGeek thank you again, I been work as a domestic gas engineer for last 4years, and last year I got commercial license, but I don't have a much experience on commercial sectors, and also I been doing self employed base. Thanks
Just put a video camera above your head press record and don't do any editing and we will watch and appreciate and learn
Looks great Ollie. I served my time on lots of commercial heating & plumbing, it’s great spending months in a Boiler House.
Great having you back doing videos mate. But family comes first.
Thanks for sharing & good luck👍👍
Thanks. Some crap to come.
Gas should be yellow orca
Nah, not any more. Identify with tape is good enough. We do yellow when asked but it always looks worse in a few years.
