- Hi guys! Today's vlog is special, it's all about hiking in the Romanian Carpathians. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, and I wanted to take you on a hike with me in the Romanian mountains. Hiking in Romanian Carpathians is very fun since we have a lot of amazing places to hike like Bucegi mountains, Ciucas mountains and so on. This hike takes us in the Piatra Craiului mountains "King's Stone". This is an easy winter hike, we ventured up to the Curmătura's Lodge to ensure our safety from mountain avalanches. I will show you how to put on the crampons for hiking boots because the end of the hike became very slippery and I put them on my boots for safety reasons. Romania is home to 60% of Europe's brown bears which are now hibernating. We didn't meet with any bears, but we saw their "possible" caves. I hope you will enjoy my video! 🌞

Reminds me that many years ago I spent some time hiking in the Tatra mountains with a Polish friend. Ah, I wonder where they are now (the friend I mean, I assume the mountains are still where I left them ;-)

Greetings from Scotland! Hello Timea! I think that you could have used your new snow chains for the first part! 😂 It looked slippery! My wife has something similar that fits on her shoes for when we go shopping in the Highland winters because we often get thick ice on the roads and pavements. She twisted her ankle badly once and she is now very wary about slipping! However, we don't have any wild bears to contend with! Super video Timea! Hello Peter!🌞🙋🏼♀️ It really was slippery! I was happy that I took my crampons with me, otherwise I would have come down on my "back"😁.
