Depends on where you're from and who you are listening to. I like this but I think there's good rap out there now, all depends on your tastes I guess. It's only mainstream American rap and well just ANYTHING mainstream coming out of America that is AWFUL! But people seem to forget that America isn't the only country that exists, just because that's all the radio seems to want to push upon us. You have the Internet, put it to good use :)

wow you're so cool critiquing modern music, like hating on music forms makes you better at knowing the right music. The listening experience is connected to emotion and experience, its individual preference, not some type of mass idea. Shut the fuck up and enjoy the music already
@planet lockdown music is abstract and based on emotion not on some weird oldie bar you've set on it, today's music will be considered the veteran music today's old school is and the gears will shift as always. I enjoy old and new music, even the music thats releasing right now and every second and also 1960 and 70's and plus, music can never be bad its just the taste you have, stop hating o others and improve yourself instead, artists like Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, J. Cole, Earl Sweatshirt, Joyner Lucas, Logic, Jid, Kid cudi, Travis Scott, Denzel Curry etc are some of the most listened in the world and they divide the modern sound of music by categorizing trap with rap with conscious lyricism and sonically and socially acceptable music, you're just having for no reason, a valid reply to you would be "ok boomer"
@planet lockdown thats a philosophical claim, and I agree with it completely, up to the point where id go more extreme and say that all individuals have become numbers and the masses are blind to the important changes and ideas in life including their very existence, but you can't separate society as the cause of all problems as not only are you not contributing anything but also forced to be a part of it, but stereotyping ALL of modern humanity is equal to racism, it doesn't help. there are smart individuals with good music taste and dumb or normally intelligent individuals with worse music taste. but in music theory the philosophy doesnt follow, modern music is upgrading and so is the taste and the sound of it, the amount of lyrical context etc... I listened to gucci gang i admit, but brainless music is party music while lyrical or bop isn't as much, sometimes the artists need to be stupid and simple and brainless, but thats exactly the abstract feel of music that makes it genius. I'm telling you, it's tied to taste, but there's still statistics. Lil Pump or young boy say two words or the alphabet in a row while Aesop rock says 7k different words in just his 3 first albums - but really who cares, music is music- listen to ehat you want and stop characterizing man, stay smart

My generations of dance songs in 1990 ! ! ! WoW so many years passed since then !
What a time to be alive
Music in the 90's was so positive.
and now we're stuck with Billie Eilish and kpop.
@@dutchafrikaner1204 Yes, and they look like on running on antidepressants.
ever heard of nirvana?
Arrepia!!!! Que época maravilhosa! Volta Anos 90!!!
im begining to think that this kind of "style" is better than the "rap" of nowdays...
+Frank Flores Pérez that was real rap
Nah don’t play they are dropping some bangers especially in 2023
Yessss
really 1989? this seems like in the now.. they have great jams back then :D
Iré yupi
lol now literally pretends to be our generation that´s why

Im 39 now, but when I hear this I am instantly transported to 1989 and I'm 4 years old at the neighborhood pool, jumping to this song
My mom was 14 years old when this song was released. It brings me nostalgia, althrough I wasn´t even born at that time.
omg people talking about their parents on all our generation´s videos now wtf
You must be in your late teens or early twenties...

Damn girl, technotronic! Remember those days🎉
Remember them? Yes. Wishing I'd appreciated being young and having every possible future open to me, God yes
This is much better, than any sound or stupid music on these days!!!
wow you're so cool critiquing modern music, like hating on music forms makes you better at knowing the right music.
@@andrejpetrov6352 Thank you so much for this answer! I love 90s Eurodance, my mother likes music from '80 to '85 because of her first loves, my grandparents liked mono records from the 1960s... I am so tired of this crap "Dazz back thenz waszz the bezt". Look at below every 80 music videos: Cry-babies how bad the world today is on every corner. Is the the spirit of your generation?
