I met her at Chicago BookCon when I was 16. She signed my Throne of Glass Book book and I told her she looked like a fairy princess - she teared up when I said that 😂😭 such a sweet person. So happy she’s getting her moment!!!❤️
She is the best. The capability her words have to provoke sooo many emotions. I’m forever impressed by her. Any time, “A better world” is mentioned in the ToG series, I become a sopping mess
Good lord how can you do that to yourself. It took me a whole week to process ACOMAF. I need to wait months before I can read another one of her books again, her books just bewitch me body and soul.

When finally reading CC almost two years ago, i was listening to Megan Thee Stallion and now I can't not think of Bryce Quinlan as anyone other than MtS.
I have been reading SJM for years. Love every single one of her books. What a talented woman. So excited for her to be getting the recognition she has deserved for so long. I hope to make it to one of her book release parties one day.
@@Ashley_eHOSAB honestly was one I read a recap of. CC1 was good but the second half of CC2 was such a drag tbh so I couldn’t stomach a reread (a first for me). And now I’m in CC3 and I’m just rage reading now. Love SJM and have been reading her stuff for about a decade, but CC3 has me angry tbh

I’m on page 250 and I quit! I’m just curious as to why it’s so bad? It’s not even the plot, maybe the plot would be good except the way she writes it? She tells you things and doesn’t show you. And then the descriptors when she does describe things - are very lazy. And don’t even get me started on the spice🫠. It’s really corny. Like a gym? I’ve got no problem with you, but it was how it was done was just so lazy and it wasn’t even sexy. It was gross and raunchy.
I was introduced to Throne of Glass in HS enjoying it as a cute YA story, and then it turned into smut in book 3 or so. I assume it was a publisher decision and not her own, but it put a poor taste in my mouth for her work 😢
Sarah j maas is officially my inspiration to continue my dream of being a author too lol. Her reasoning is exactly why i wanted to do it, but i want to prove those who dont believe in me wrong.
As a fan of her books I like to say I'm not a fan of romance but she is my addiction. She nails the romance and it's relatable characters. She is the only one who I will read for romance and I'm waiting for her next book and own all her books so far and the coloring books too!!

Well, even my local bookshop (about 200 meters from the European river that is named after her, or vice versa) had a clutch of fans sitting in front of the door at januari 30th. I bought the novel electronic last Sunday and Wednesday I finished it. Good, but not as full of biting humor as the first 2 installments, but the end, I loved it.
To all of you authors and aspiring authors out there: Sarah is living proof that you can do it. You can. Keep showing up to the page. Keep dreaming. Keep writing.
Please don't call this woman a fantasy writer. It's like calling Grey's Anatomy a medical docuseries. She is the McDonald's of literature. Popular and easily digestible, but nothing resembling a properly made meal.
