Came here for the knowledge you always bring to composing, specifically loved what you had to say from here 1:00:20 up until 1:05:17
Of course, there was more but that really spoke to me.

Still hooked on harmonic minor, especially when improvising. Nice, keep it coming.

Only 20s in, but I'm pretty sure OT aren't the first to record con sordino strings... I'm pretty sure VSL did it in the past, and I'm almost certain Spitfire also had Con Sordino articulations recorded in some of their libraries... I wouldn't bet my life on that because memory isn't my strongest suits, but I'm very convinced they did. Now having said that, I'm glad OT did it, it's a very nice addition to their Berlin Series.

8Dio has Century Sordino Strings too.

Pretty sure he meant one of the first dedicated con sordino libraries with as many as possible articulations played with a mute. Spitfire has con sordino articulations, but it's just a long patch, maybe couple of shorts, tremolo and that's it.

@@normal.username Still, there have been dedicated Con Sordino libraries before with full articulations. E.g. the aforementioned Century Sordino Strings from 8dio, Chamber Strings Sordino from VSL, etc.

Cool look at these muted strings... however I want to know what that pan flute sound is on the beat of bar 11. You don't mention it as far as I can tell. I need a sound just like that for a project I am on.

Great review. But I still pass, Sine needs a lot of more work to be a decent alternative for Kontakt IMO.
