I probably spent more time playing this game more than other game in my life except maybe FPWR. This was so fun to play with all the customizable items, nice graphics, and you could play VF1.
Versus Omnibus Virtua Fighter not flashy but stylish instead you only get the cool looking stuff once you understand your character which isn't hard unless you try to use Akira.
this game holds such a significant importance in my childhood, if you dont know you dont know.... PLEASE remaster this game. the best fighting game of all time..
I remember when I was a kid and the box art gave me nightmares. And also my cousin beating me constantly with some guy that kept saying fly like a butterfly sting like a bee.
I remember hearing the opening theme two VF4 Evolution so much when I went to go to the arcade in Chinatown. Mostly because nobody was playing the game.
This game brings back the memories of me and my older brother messing around with the game. And I still remember that stage at 20:17, we'd throw eachother off the stage and moon-jump in. Our sides were destroyed in those days.
VF4 Evo is one of the best VF games and fighting games ever in my opinion... Although I do prefer the Menu UI and some of the music of vanilla VF4 though...
Man, I am not good at Virtua Fighter AT ALL, but man it is so fun I keep coming back to get my ass whooped. XD I am just barely capable with Kage and Aoi.
Lol, VF is nothing like DOA though... they are both fighting games of course, but the gameplay and mechanics are so different, even if they do have some similarities...
I remember so much rage induced gaming happening with my brothers and I solely due to kumite mode. VF4 vanilla had the whole customization thing then Tekken copied it with T5, but VF copied the hoody look when they created Goh from Jin in T4. Then MK Deception jumped on the hoody trend by making Kobra. The only character to maintain the hoody look to this day is obviously the original, Jin Kazama. And Jacky IS in the category of Bruce Lee clone. He does not model the look of Bruce Lee like Fei Long who is essentially Bruce Lee in video game form or the Laws, but he essentially has Bruce Lee mannerisms. Instead of Bruce Lee battlecries he has his own signature battlecry of "yeeeah" though he has sort of grown into his own character. Kind of like Liu Kang. Even the Laws have grown into their own characters and Jann from DoA as well.
Your comment is almost practically incoherent. The only copycat was tekken in this case. The new design was a guest creation by tekken team approved by am2. Lurk some more, for earths sake. And also your snide remark on Jacky is myopic, perhaps you’re a cyclops, since your eyes are so close together you need a monocle. Or you are just pretend blinded to Max’s observation.
LethargicCavalier To be frank I have no idea why your are attacking me personally. Otherwise Jin kicked off the hoody look because afterwards many fighting games started making characters with a similar look. Just because I said "copy" doesn't mean "omg them muthafuckers". Goh is his own character just like Akira copying the ryu look, but is very much his own character. Same goes for Ryo Sakazaki. I mean even Brad was a duck and weave character and both Goh and Brad were made after T4 Jin and Steve Fox. You sound bitter. Also Jacky is my personal favorite VF character. Why would I make bad remarks toward Jacky? I actually like the idea of Jacky being a Bruce Lee clone, but white and does his own style of Bruce Lee's JKD. JKD isn't tied down to any specific way of fighting. Bruce Lee has a very distinct style of JKD as Bruce used a combination of Wing Chun, boxing, and TKD, among other forms. All the shuffle steps and paksao Jacky does is pretty much what you would expect of a Bruce Lee clone. They don't have to be Asian and sport a bowl cut to be a Bruce Lee clone. That's why Jacky and Liu Kang are my favorite Bruce Lee clones because they don't have to actually look like Bruce Lee.
Does anyone on the Chanel use p+k or k+g? I know they’re not vf experts but they play vf2 enough, as much as I like seeing this game played on this channel it is boring as fuck when it’s 20 mins of pppk then down attack with spells of crouching punch thrown in I mean there are grapple characters in vf and counter characters or characters with stances. I just don’t get how they decide to play vf and not have a clue what the moves are bar the Bryant flip kick
Ah VF4 EVO! Game had the best tutorial for a fighting game ever, so in depth.
Necroseraph guilty gear Xrd rev 2 had the best tutorial for a 2D fighter and VF4E had the best one for a 3D fighter
@Budgie Cat I found under nights tutorial a bit confusing I don't know why
Still a great game

Sire Kumasutra FIRE PRO!!!!!
It’s about time for a VF6, don’t y’all think?
Big announcement coming next month. Could be VF?
flashman92 Let’s hope so. It seems like a new Virtua Fighter comes once each console generation. Wonder how the graphics would look today ☺️
especially if VF4 Evo looked THAT good for PS2
God yes! VF5 came out in 2006 and last version in 2012. Definitely due time

Game is 18 years old... Plays better than all current gen games and look better than some

My favourite fighting game
I done hand cuff lightning!
A true hidden gen and it's on PS2.
And it’s on ps2 what is that supposed PlayStation 2 is filled with a shit ton of hidden gems
MAN this brings back memories.
This series could use the martial arts variety of Tekken and Doa. There are fighting styles outside of Japan and China.
This game brings back the memories of me and my older brother messing around with the game. And I still remember that stage at 20:17, we'd throw eachother off the stage and moon-jump in. Our sides were destroyed in those days.
Best fucking virtua fighter hands down.

I’m still not sure how to get the VF4 music and staged on Evo. I’ve seen it in some videos, but I’m not sure how to unlock it.
Vanessa is more ripped than Sarah. Check out her alt costume, if this version have them?
Well, they finally played Virtua Fighter 4! I can die happy now. :D
Love this game.
I always loved VF but man is it hard AF but to get good at. I lost my patience after VF4 vanilla
It's funny to think that VF's gameplay is meant to be easy but yet most people feel it's hard.. VF4 even tried to simplify controls even more.
Man, I am not good at Virtua Fighter AT ALL, but man it is so fun I keep coming back to get my ass whooped. XD I am just barely capable with Kage and Aoi.
Ha ha! xD The way Max tried to hold his pad at times. Bring the guy his fightstick! xD
look at this old dead or alive game. oh, the memories.
