@@bartholomaios5211 there’s barely cover on most maps but getting kills while it lasts is rewarding.
I’ve found it really annoying that the majority of players from consoles use the air vehicles to get to a location and ditch it.
I don’t understand the timer on how the vehicles spawn because sometimes the timer will be up and nothing is a available
thats him flying low, fast and crazy maneuvers, exactly knowing where the lock-ons are coming from and just killing them all lol
@@UCECRUSH the timer when you go to respawn is a cooldown mechanic so one person cant keep getting a vehicle, it gives others a chance to fly or drive
I think this round he filmed would be an example of a game where the other team had zero cohesion and not many players willing to devote their loadout/effort to an Anti Air role. I exclusively fly helicopters (no infantry, tanks, etc) and every server/game is slightly different.
I'd say 1 in 5 or maybe 1 in 7 games are like this where you are just basically unopposed in the air and totally wreck everyone. I also encounter games where I can't stay in the air with attack choppers at all, and only for minutes at a time with the night bird, also about 1 in 5.. Whenever there is a squad that works together with AA missiles and hacking, I'm basically SOL. Same for when an attack chopper, nightbird, and/or jet are working together to take out enemy aircraft.
This is the first battlefield I have tried to fly in and I had no idea how hard it was. You make it look effortless man good stuff
To be fair my man this game is garbage for flying so don't feel too bad lol. Try out BF3 and BF4 if you wanna have real fun

Honestly, it feels like Battlefield kind of forgot that with 64-Players per team. That only have a couple vehicle spawns is a bad idea. I struggle to be able to get into a vehicle other then the jeep transport. Especially Attack Heli's and Planes.
On every other channel people complain about too many lol. I think it's currently designed so there's not 7 of every vehicle on the map at the same time but they spawn quite quickly so they dont have a lot o of downtime, and multiple people get to play them.
If you get used to the timings you can take a lot more vehicles, i played the first 15 levels infantry only basically untill i got into the flow of vehicles.
Just sit in the vehicle menu they pop up a lot. Especially choppers there’s a lot of inexperienced pilots getting shot down by all of the aa in the game. I usually spend about 30 seconds in the menu before I get in a chopper or even a tank

They way he just effortlessly chops down infantry with the minigun is impressive. So accurate with precise maneuvering. I recently started trying to get better with the choppers and jets. Definitely not great yet, but watching this dude slay with them is my motivation to keep improving

Biggest issue is not knowing when a missile is incoming, sometimes it'll cut straight to the fire warning but nothing happens, other times it fires and you dodge it, and ten seconds later it re signals and you get hit, or there just isn't a proper warning and it cuts off whilst it should be alerting you that there's a fire. It's so dumb, as well as getting one hit by a single launcher.
That constant missile incoming alert is often from those tracking grenades. They are super easy to fly away from. If you see this alert that doesn’t start with a green lock on alert, you don’t need flares just kept flying

I always get jet rammed or a really good jet pilot on the enemy team. It is frustrating now that it can just hover like a v-tole and the glitch where lock-one maintain even after your flair

I wasnt actually abble to play with the Heli, so I'll have to try that another time

Have you tried fighting a decent scout heli as a jet? It's pathetic how hard it is to kill one that sky boxes you. Tiny hitbox chunking your health at 400 meters.
Kinda the same gun, way more steady and like 10 minutes full auto until overheat
Flying in BF2042 is so hard on console. I'm a damn good pilot in any helicopter on BF4, but this game is frustrating on Xbox One. No feeling like ace flying and getting kills in a Battlefield game, keep em coming Silk!!
Change your controls back to bf4 controls and its the same. New controls are aids.
yesterday I found out that the Condor can just go at full speed and ram helicopters, survive and repair itself at the same time. it's stupid, but as long as it works, I'll abuse it.

I love the rocket pods but for the life of my hitting infantry with the mini-guns is difficult. It seems like firing the min-guns causes my pitch to change a bit from where I am firing. It's a blast to fly tho

After i got my T1 i started using air to ground, trying to get better with the miniguns. Going good so far, you should give it a try if you havent already. Enjoy your vids btw :D

I could make this type of video if the entire opposing team didn’t decide to use stingers as soon as I got the heli
I really need to train on flying I’m not used to the stick controls I mainly play gta and I get into vehicular warfare a lot especially in jets I’m only used to the trigger controls rather then the stick controls and every time I see someone fly the little bird i always get mesmerized by how they control it so well
By the way, jets can have missiles that do not send lock on warnings, that's how they can get cheeky hits in. And since it's the last unlock, you can expect the number of these missiles to increase as time goes on.

I wish I could honestly fly the helis like this. I was an ace back in 2142, took a couple games off, and now it's just weird.
Meh, it’s a shame they introduced rocket pods and the new flight model. We’re just gonna end up with AA mines, UCAVs, and passive radar missles for “balance”

Whenever I go into a lobby. I'm being spam locked onto by Anti Air infantry 24/7. Cannot even move without at least 4 players locking onto me when I'm in the 400 meters range...
The amount of Stingers per match is just horrendous... Now I understand why Heli mains created "No Stinger/No IGLA" servers back in BF4. Stingers are so fucking broken in this game, especially the fact almost the whole enemy team has one, and has a cancerous long ass range, it makes flying/straifing on Breakthrough impossible. They gotta nerf that shit to the ground. Bunch of whinies crying about Helis, while we have to deal with, not only Stingers but, Mobile AA (EBAA Wildcat), Sundance's AA grenades, Jet harassers, SOFLAM Rec M5 or getting hacked by Rao and then get fucked by AA Lock Ons.
@@nonserviam54 Yeah flying is ridiculous on this battlefield. Was #1 on leaderboards for a while on battlefield 4. And on Battlefield hardline i was #1 for a few months.

I love flying the little bird it's so fun , esp when ya keep nailing mofos and other choppers etc , AA can be rather annoying tho . Had this crazy round I nailed a jet then two other choppers , then I respawned snipered 4 chopper pilots rofl . It was so crazy . Got some chopper with a rocket and about 3 tanks also , kept nailing every sniper shot . Was so fun , I need to mix it up otherwise my brain gets bored . I don't often have rounds like that , but for some reason I was just on fire . Wish I had it on video . I use the same load out it fcking owns rofl . I also find the more I play the little bird the better I get .

If you switch on the passengers seat u can repair midair with the repair tool, there no need to actually land the heli

If the helicopters have to land to refill ammo and rockets they won't be used as much and I think would give ground troops a chance.

How do you know when you're getting those "fake" incoming missile alerts? Is it a bug or something i just dont understand. 8:22 for example

How do you decide when to pop flares? I’ve noticed sometimes when you get the long tone you ignore it and there’s no missile that shows up.
The peeping sound literally tells if there's actually a rocket coming. Sometimes it's a static peep meaning there's no danger
You pop it when it's red and says "missile incoming" lol. Depending on distance, if you know where they're shooting from, you may want give it a second so missile doesn't go passed your flares. Also if you're swift enough, you can coast the ground and the missile might slam into a building or the ground before hitting you
Wish I could fly like this, for some reason when I'm in the cockpit itstead of zooming in it zooms out and I feel like I can't fly that fast for some reason.

Your movements in the heli are so fluid, do you ever just practise in a solo lobby? I can fly fairly well but you just seem to think on a 4 dimensional level compared to me.
Not really it just feels natural to me. I've also crashed many times learning to do this stuff

What are your keybinds for pilot? Your flight is so much more reactive than mine, it feels sluggish when I fly.

This proves why i hate vehicles and choppers specifically in this game…. Vehicles were not this much of a problem in the old bfs but good shit either way.
Idk if it's just the way the helis are programmed in this game, but it feels like using the mouse to yaw the heli is no longer viable. I was a great heli pilot in BF4 using this method, but I was able to turn much quicker in those helis. Here, these helis turn so much slower, even with max sensitivity.
Yo, I just found out if you play as Mackay, you get points towards specialist advancement if you're in an air vehicle (usually)
Watching these always makes me feel like I can fly that good then I get in one and fly like shit hahaha
9:14 Silk or anyone, please explain how do you know not to flee or flare while getting all these missle coming alerts?? I mean I'm usually out as soon as missle lock appears especially if I don't have flares. And usually if I don't run away I get pawned by aa rockets :/
