You should know that a voice actor is the one who gives soul to a character. When the language is different, it gives a new personality to the character even if it's the same character. And I'm a Japanese person who prefers the character and personality of Neuvillette with the Japanese voice, his image is that he is a Supreme Judge who is dignified and very calm person. And I find Neuvillette with English voice is too OOC from the image I believe. And I'm sure, some people also think Neuvillette with Japanese voice is OOC too, so it's just a cultural difference 🫤 Both voices are good in your own preference. there is nothing to argue about and imposing one's opinion.
It is so true, many characters have shockingly distinct personalities between English and Japanese voice~ Itto with English voice behaves completely different, totally different personality. I really love Max Mittelman's performance, however, it is not the same character anymore. I like Japanese Itto, I think he feels much more cohesive.

That so weird the thing people have against soft Neuvilette voice is always related to american portray of judges.
