Not going to lie its sad seeing him again after so long. But hey! hes doing what makes him happy and feel good. I am glad he found peace, those who don't respect it must not know the depression and darkness khan was going through as a star. Roy khan Voice of a god!
Uh, 'bro'....it's great if he's happy. That aside, it's seriously tragic that he can no longer do what he was born to do--no matter how it's sugar coated.
Doesn't seem like he's happy though, that's the point. Who knows, maybe he is but it sure doesn't seem like it. Everyone needs a break once in a while though.
Fans can be so entitled. Yes, we all miss him and his voice but at the end of the day he is a regular man like everyone else, free to live his life the way he sees fit and believe what he wants, not your puppet to perform for your entertainment. He has a wife and kids, he probably wants to be with them, not touring the world, sleeping on a bus and performing every night. Roy already suffered a burn out once. Touring seems exhausting (on the body and mind), and it's not like he is getting any younger. Let him be and live a happy life.
Glad to know he's still singing and hopefully living in peace. Although most kamelot fans want him back, I really think the message he always tried to tell us all through his music is about finding peace in this world, and now he finally has it. "I seek peace of mind at least and to know I did my best."
I'm missing Roy but he found his way to be happy so I respect him and am happy for him. Please don't call it wasting, he enjoy his life and not so many people can tell it about their life.
So you have Roy Khan infront of you but you decided to film the fucking lights instead 😂. Just kidding bro, thanks for giving us the chance to see him again
He is not even the shadow of the amazing singer he used to be, and he does not even look happy :( Congregational music makes your level as a musician much lower, because it does not require being a great musician to sing repetitions over and over again. I want him to return for sing the fantastic and difficult music as only he knows how to do with that voice that God gave him, to shine like the star he is. He have to remember that to be a christian is a way of life, not a religion...
I don't mean to be rude with you but I think he is not there to please your expectations on how his music career should be. Yes, I also miss sooo much his voice, in or out of Kamelot, but he was burnt out and, to me, it makes me happier to see him doing so much good for his community (from what I've heard) than to see him forced to travel and sing live in your town because you selfishly demand it.
No one's selfishly demanding it. I'm pretty sure she meant it's sad to see him waste his talent on music that doesn't require his level of talent, not that she literally wanted him to return to singing for Kamelot or live and sing in her city. It was ridiculous to imply that. She said he doesn't look happy and she's right, he doesn't. It probably has to do with his mental state more than anything. I hope he pulls through whatever he's struggling with not just for the sake of his fans who want to hear his talent again but for his own sake too.
pengen matirasa of course because people can never be satisfied. We want what we don't have and don't care about what we have.. thuth is that life doesn't supposed to be easy and sweet like sugar. It's hard to be "special one" and it's hard to be ordinary. "So it hurts to be alive, my friend" And by logic of you and some other people, musicians are the unhappiest people on Earth and all fans must feel guilt. An nobody forces nobody. It's just comments, we write here whatever we want
It just sickens me to see so-called fans whining about it being a "waste" for Roy to have found peace with God just because they may not believe what he does. As a fan and a fellow Christian, I'm ecstatic that he's now my brother-in-Christ, but I understand not everyone believes the same as we do. Still, you should indeed respect that he has chosen what he has, instead of whining about it being a "waste" for him to sing for his church. Grow up.
Jacob it's not like Kamelot was a satanic band, he could have followed his faith while still amazing fans with his talent. Im happy with kamelots new singer but still hope for a solo album from Roy one day. Maybe a role on the next Ayreon album
Roy is back with Conception reunion!!! ua-cam.com/video/gkalgLB8Ktk/v-deo.html

Aah, it is so good to see Roy happy and singing... You are so lucky to get to see him performing!
Not going to lie its sad seeing him again after so long. But hey! hes doing what makes him happy and feel good. I am glad he found peace, those who don't respect it must not know the depression and darkness khan was going through as a star. Roy khan Voice of a god!
It hurts me to see this.....I really hope that he is happy.
I feel the same :(
It's like watching Michelangelo teaching five-year-olds to fingerpaint. So sad.
SixStringRazor.com no bro, it is like seeing a person doing what make him happy
Uh, 'bro'....it's great if he's happy. That aside, it's seriously tragic that he can no longer do what he was born to do--no matter how it's sugar coated.
no bro, we cannot be so sure about what a person was born to do

What a waste...
Huge waste
Altough it truly is sad that he is not doing what we all love him for but he's happy now. He's enjoying life and we all should respect that.

Yeah ... you truly sound objective here.
