Recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Jimmy Page's birthday, I'm slightly surprised more people haven't reacted to this concert over the years. It may not be the crowd-pleasing set you get later on, but it shows them at the start of their ascent to world domination.
What a great early Zepp concert song! I saw them thrice in the 70s, beginning in 73... While they were definitely more polished by then, I love this raw talent video, foretelling great things to come for the band. Keep on boogieing to Zepp please!
Da GOATS!!!!!! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the BLUES ON ACID,🥴 You will never be the same you have fallen down the rabbit hole of L.Z. You will love Since I’ve been loving you, live from Madison Square Garden 1973. That concert was a monster. They were just starting to get to their zenith!
Awesome Live video of Bring it on Home! I've never seen this performance of the song, and they were phenomenal! I would suggest checking out the studio versions of the songs first before you check out the live versions though, because sometimes it's hard to gain perspective of the way the band intended the songs to be heard until you've heard the magical studio productions of Jimmy Page (I mean as opposed to them improvising in front of 20,000 drunk individuals in the audience). Peace
ALWAYS listen to the original studio recording masterpiece sessions of any legendary artist of the classic progressive rock era IT MAKES NO SENSE TO NOT LISTEN TO THE EXACT REASON why it became part of peoples souls otherwise you ruin your virgin listen and you are hearing some version always different if you want to understand HEAR EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE MEANT TO LIKE WE ALL DID not some other version on a stage somewhere years later
Love your reaction!
FINALLY someone did this
Loved the performance! You are right on with your reaction!
Huge Blues influence with Led Zeppelin! We really didn't worry over the lyrics too much! With music like this it was secondary.
Bring it On Home!!! Great live recording. Way to rock out!
Oh how did I miss this one? Fabulous!
Good music never goes out of style.
