Just to let you know that SEVENTEEN's are the one and only self producing kpop group All their songs are written composed and produced by the member WOOZI that's why they seem different than other songs as he s always experiancing smthg new Truly a genuis *^* and the rappers write the rap verses and ofc HOSHI has a major hand in choreographing their songs and even some music videos like Snapshoot and Holiday are done by MINGYU & WONWOO . That's what a self producing group looks like xD and as you have caught on their uniqueness in the music and choreos SEVENTEEN don't go with the trend , they set the trend themselves xD
one of the members( woozi) who writes and produce their music don't really follow the usual structure of a song that's why some people don't really get into seventeen songs and he also produces a songs with some open-ending and that it connects to next comeback title track🤣🥰 Carats are only ones who really gets fast to understand the structure of the song because its not new to us. The antidrop in the prechorus is so calming and every time I hear it, i visualize a sea (idk why lol) or you can imagine somewhere or someone comfortable to you. Woozi’s specialty is definitely the anti-drops. It’s almost like his brand at this point because of how much he uses it in his composition with Seventeen’s discography 💯
