I heard about this well over a year ago. This isn't new sadly. I had someone state we need to screen our buyers. That's unrealistic and literally impossible. Also this content is not just sought by men but by women as well. It's gross and there is nothing we can do about it except be very careful of your privacy settings . I do think it's important that we don't look at every man who is interested in our hobby as a potential predator or bad person

Yes I agree with you 💯 %. It's gross and inappropriate and it's against what the dolls are ment to be used for and what the doll are all about. These videos people post online and on other social media platforms are for family friendly enjoyment and also for therapy only. It makes me mad and upset that there are people out there that think otherwise. Those kind of people need a reality check big time and to get a life.
I hadn’t heard about this and I am appalled by this news. There are so many sick people in the world, nothing is safe from them. It hurts my heart to think there are sick people using these innocent doll videos for discussing things. 😡

I thought that it was weird the way some people (who have no other content other than *that* kind of content) handle/photograph fbs babies or reborns with body plates. I’ve reported a couple that I have come across and instagram said there was no violation. I am so disgusted. Reborns are supposed to be a safe space and these awful people come along. On tiktok there was also a man asking young girls with reborns to “bounce their baby on their knee” and video it. It turns out he was also disgusting. Please stay safe

Honestly, none of this surprises me. Even if this wasn't happening, I know many people watch these videos with less than ideal intentions. I look at my video analytics and the parts of my videos that get replayed the most often are the ones where I change the dolls clothes (specifically the diapers) and in general my most popular videos are changing videos. So I know what type of folk lurks in the shadows. Sad? Yes. Surprising? No.

Something is deeply wrong with a man that is interested in dolls. Seriously.
For some reason I've been getting a lot of these doll videos coming up without even searching for them. I saw a video that piximommys reborns posted saying is breastfeeding our dolls going too far and she actually had the doll up to her boob. If that wasn't bad enough, the majority of the women in her comment section said they do it too. It's sickening.
I wanna start collecting these!! They are honestly so cute, and it would be so fun to play as a mother and take care of a fake child!! The fact that people use these for bad purposes is DISGUSTING!! Those are literal BABIES!! The fact people do this stuff makes me feel so disgusted. Whoever does this is VILE!
I’m glad for this warning. Thankfully, I don’t actually post anything on my channel with my dolls as I am still a little new to the community. But also, role playing with them is great, but I don’t really feel the need to post videos of that. I sometimes post pictures of them in new outfits on my Facebook page. Usually for a holiday as I like to share stuff for the holidays and dressing them up in holiday baby gear is just too cute not to show off. But the role playing I prefer to keep to myself. I love taking them places and on walks and stuff, but that’s enough for me. I don’t feel the need to constantly post a video about it, so my channel should be safe from this. However, it’s good to know in advance if ever I should decide to try a role playing video with them in the future.

Sound's very disturbing... 🤷♀️ I don't understand for the life of me why someone would even entertain the idea of breast feeding a doll when it's a doll. A real baby makes sense to breast feed but not a doll. 🤷♀️ I've grown up with doll's since the early 90's. My first doll was in 1989 when I was 2. Roger Rabbit pull string stuffed animal from (Hill's store) then Special Blessings Christina Prayer doll & plenty of other doll's since then. I have both reborn doll's, mechanical doll's, cloth body doll's. I don't do porcelain doll's only because I've had 4 total in my life & they just break to easily. Mechanical doll's are my passion. Love to fix them if they break & clean them up. Restore like brand new. I like dressing my doll's up reborn or mechanical. Give them plastic doll food, play video games with my doll's, tea parties. In the 90's it was me, Starbrite Sparkles, Special Blessings Christina Prayer doll (Krissy her nickname), Roger Rabbit we used to play Super nintendo alot back then. Still have the same doll's now we play switch~ 🤣 Not sure if I consider myself a doll collector or not tbh. 🤷♀️ I have a lot of vintage doll's from the 70's, 80's, 90's, early to mid 2000 era half for sentimental / nostalgic reasons. Alway's looked at doll's as a hobby the same as my video games started both at the same age 2. The NES (original nintendo game console) was my first game system then the SNES (super nintendo) at the age of 6. I'm an only child alot of my doll's were pretty much like my best friends back then. Go figure~ 🤷♀️✌️
This is absolutely disgusting I’ve seen a particular TikTok video on a reborn channel, she claimed her doctor gave her lactation medicine so she could breast feed dolls. I’ve also seen a man going around on Snapchat with the username, joyful reborn to talk too minors which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion. While I have no problem with men collecting dolls for whatever reason, there only has to be a few people that ruin it for everyone else and it’s sad. Again I’m not against males collecting dolls but using dolls for this purpose, is absolutely disgusting this is why I don’t like sharing my reborn dolls. Too much what do you suggest I do so I can enjoy making content with them, without having inappropriate people using my videos in a negative way.

This video is about the OF models using these dolls in disgusting ways to cater to men who are looking for that kind of content. Again, I LITERALLY SAID IN THE VIDEO THAT THERE ARE MEN IN THE DOLL COLLECTING COMMUNITY AND THIS VIDEO IS NOT ABOUT THEM! I have been accused of being cloistered and not keeping up with what's going on in the world. I am now 77 years Young and all my children are grown and left the nest. I'm here retired and able to do anything and everything I want to do. I do collecting in the large array of things, I paint on anything that stands still, I am thoroughly enjoying my life. I worked hard for over 40 years as a nurse in different medical fields and now it is time to rest and enjoy. My mother started collecting anatomical dolls years ago when they first came out. It was, I think, to teach my little niece about boys and girls instead of learning from experience. When these beautiful reborn Dolls came out mother was up in age and she was not financially able to buy one they were you know extremely expensive.
Also a collector and use reborns for theraputic reasons. This isn't the first distrubing thing I have heard ppl miss using these dolls for. This hobby/community gets such a bad rep thanks to sick ppl like this it truely is a sad and disgusting. On the plus side Teddy is beautiful i adore his expression.

Just don't judge all men that collect please. There are those among us that can't have kids for various reasons. To me it is anxiety and I never got any kids and closing in to 50 now. I have cared for two little boys in the past that was my girlfriends kids, but we broke up and I never had any children after that. Feel something is missing in my life. I need to feel that caring for a baby. I had a boy doll last year and cared for him as a real baby a while. Ended up donating him anonymously to someone. Now I wait for a sleeping girl ordered from Temu. Been considering dolls from Ivita as well (Vollence and the male version of it, think it's possible to order as twin pair). Ivita have a broad range of verious dolls. They are so CUTE :). I can't afford more than 150-350 usd dolls. But these are pretty well made and I am okay with that quality. I have sadly not told anyone that I care for fake babies. My friends would probably shake their head and laugh, they don't understand the loss I feel. It's painful.

I am scared to roleplay because of sick idiots potentially watching, so I've been taking a break from this community. However the warning is well appreciated. Honestly there are a lot of disgusting people out there but breast feeding is a natural thing to do and I have seen a couple reborn doll groups that are especially just for moms who role play with their reborns and breast feed them . Personally I wouldn’t do it but these are women who can’t have their own children and treat their reborn as if it’s a real living baby and just wanna experience what is like . Breast feeding is not illegal. I’m from Massachusetts and I see plenty of breast feeding moms in public feeding their babies . Unfortunately there are some sick men out there that get off seeing dolls . Anyway everyone has their own outlook on this subject but put yourself in their shoes . It’s no different then watching a video on breast feeding except they are using a doll that looks realistic

Girl I’ve seen a reborn artist do a video of her breast feeding one of her dolls!!!! This is indeed not new news that’s for sure and I’m sure others have seen it as well but this was a few years ago when I first started getting into wanting a reborn baby and was searching doll creators and this lady who I believe is a artist herself was actually breast feeding her doll. I didn’t even make it through the first 5 mins because as soon as she showed herself exposed squeezing her breast claiming to be expressing milk to a doll I was like nope I’m done. Some of these women can go too far with the role playing. I love to dress my reborns up in cloths my daughter wore and other cute outfits and take photos of them for my doll channel and IG because I am a newborn photographer myself. I have a daughter who is a grown woman herself now and I can’t have anymore babies due to chemotherapy for breast cancer putting me into full menopause at a young age but I do not want to get that carried away with my dolls. Hey if others like to do things like pretend an actual delivery and breast feeding that’s their thing but I sure don’t want to watch it.

I have probably seen the videos come through where they show other videos to watch. I've noticed those words, but i thought OMG how weird and never clicked on them. You know who made this breastfeeding thing blow up in the reborn community is the channel Pixiemommy because she made a video of herself breastfeeding one which is disgusting and I refuse to watch that video. So yeah people are out there and think we as reborn baby collectors do that kind of thing and I just think they're sick. I know what you are saying because I had something similar happen to me when I made my first and last video which was only up for two hours before I took it down because someone wanted me to hurt my doll in a very sick and twisted way mind you I had just received her that day and it was a sculpt I really wanted but couldn't afford the real thing so I bought a beautiful replica from someone selling her on EBay so when my Maddie came I wanted to do a box opening video with her and because of that comment I never reposted the video and I am very hesitant to do another one even though I am going to be receiving my first and probably only full body silicone semi custom baby girl and I would love to share her box opening on UA-cam I'm not sure I will.

I’m a fine Artist, oil paint, acrylic and relief plus book covers and writer. I have collectible reborn/ silicon dolls. Never posted but when purchased the last doll all of sudden I received many videos from you collectors via UTube. Some of the post received as box openings show the private parts of the dolls. The person(s) will comment while opening and say oops UTube doesn’t allow but yet the video is yet there? I find this weird on both sides of coin!!! #1 why take diaper off for what reason? Your doll community should understand if the doll correct. #2 what I’ve noticed is the text wording as the video is streaming is over the face of the artist doll as not to be copied but not on the genital area? To me the artists are more concerned about copy than they are about private showing? As an Artist myself I can not escape copiers especially if my work is shown on the internet “can’t stop it’s a fact” if a buyer posts! But why ??? would a person post a box opening exposing private parts of a doll? I’ve seen many times! My Advice “take it or leave it” get with your doll community and express “heavily” that box openings and or undressing dolls in a public forum should only be partially not showing private areas of dolls. I think according to what I’ve seen come across my feed is partially because of some in the doll community exposing parts that should not have been exposed. I was shocked!!! as times are what it is now days. I think responsibility should be taken on those who take this lightly and post anyway because they want to show their dolls complete features!!! Weirdos now know where to look because of irresponsable posters! Though these are dolls we’re taking about they’re very realistic and should be treated as if they’re real babies! Simple as that. As an Artist with museum works and publication I’ve never seen such in all my 40 years of work such controversy over dolls as I’ve seen in these posts on many different levels. I hope this stops and the beauty of the work shine through via the faces, hair rooting and extremities “if that shows through why remove the diaper on video”???? Converse with each other on box openings with in your community! I never did a box opening with my dolls as I had no need too. They’re beautiful and they’re mine. If I may comment again without sounding offensive. I’ve lost 3 Children 2 at birth and one in an auto accident. The 2 babies at birth looked just like a lot of the silicon dolls that artists are creating!!!! They don’t look alive ! To much blue, grey, too floppy and when set next too vinyl the silicon dolls come across as dead! There are some with armatures and lightly painted that are far more realistic to actual live births. Ultra realistic newborn silicon dolls artists should not use immediate after birth visions of live babies!!!! They always come out a mess as do their mothers! It’s labor! I have children who lived and at birth were a mess until days later in color! No veins in face, cone head “yes”, with the exception of my c-section babies “perfect in color and head shape”. BUT my still born babies 2 looked just like some the silicon dolls shown on the internet! Sad reminders! My hope is that the artists focus More on vibrant new baby looks and not on veins, bluing skin tone! I hope I don’t offend but from a mother who’s lost babies I think we’d all agree to see a doll that’s truly “new” as an “new born” with soft rosy coloring in their lively faces and soft hair. After all isn’t that what makes us smile when we look at them? Not their veins or bruised faces and bodies! Just my take! Not a collector but love dolls and the happiness they can bring.
