Its an awesome kit with multiple possibilities, i think the seller has made a booboo with his listing price but share and share a like, he had only sold the 3 kits that i have bought up to the releasing of the vid last night since June 4th, i checked this morning and he has now sold 4, no idea whether that is because of the vid or not LOL.
Hello there @Claymore5 and thanks for watching. Was too good a deal not to share, have noticed that the number sold has gone from 3 to 5 since i uploaded this vid, wondering whether someone else has snapped one up as a result. Good luck building it does look like a really nice kit.
@@TheNoviceModeller I've already got a WOT 8 and WOT 6 kit in the stash - but I'm going to do these as Royal Navy trucks for a dockyard diorama I have in mind. Great call though. Thanks once again.
Cracking video Andy! Love your enthusiasm and sheer excitement, it's wonderful to witness! 😁 I do like ICM kits and this does look a fantastic set. The detail on their new stuff is quite amazing and as you rightly point out, this is an incredible bargain at this price, its almost a crime not to buy a set! So pleased you've reached 1k subs mate, kerp up the great channel content. Be seeing you......
cheers Bobby, yes well i think its an awesome bargain, thats why i have 3 of them, think i might have lost the plot a bit but i have them if i need them. LOL i checked the sellers selling stats on this and he sold 6 in the two days after the vid and non since, i think i should ask him for a commission.
Hello there @nickbutler7935 and thanks for watching. As per the vid i now have 3, why i have 3 i dont really know, but i might just need them at that some point LOL.
Andy, you're becoming an excellent builder AND buyer. I need to study the eBay portion again and see how you set up the search. I think I'm searching the wrong way for the good bargains. Those sprues are certainly full. I saw another modeler preparing to build and he cuts off all the parts from the sprues, then builds. A bit scary , I have to connect the numbers :-) Cheers Bob
HI Bob not sure how you are doing your ebay searches or whether perhaps U.S version is set up slightly different (which would be dumb) but if i find something i want or like i just use the manufacturers name and the kit number. LOL that way is a bit scary, especially on something like this, though i do tend to use visual I.D on the part before referring to the numbers, though lets be honest thats on a little 1/72 aircraft, i doubt i could do that on something as epic as this LOL.
@@TheNoviceModeller Hey Andy, as Shakespeare would say, "there's the rub" , knowing the kit number sounds like it brings up a lot more selection. I've just been using manufactuer and model name preceeded by " vintage" if its not a current release. Cheers, Bob
Hi Andy. You definately got a good deal there mate. I like your ambitious plans for them all. Your gonna need a lot of space if your going to put the rockets all in one diorama. They spaced them out for better coverage and also for their own safety. I would personally build them as trucks and then load them up with lots of stowage , build one as a rocket launcher though. There's an awful lot of parts but no flash which is good. Maybe when you feel able build them in pairs , that will save you some time. And make sure that you have plenty of green paint , your going to need it. Good vid, good advice and a joy to watch. Cheers bud.
IHi Brian i think its an awesome kit with multiple possibilities, LOL i have loads of OVER ambitious plans whether any of them come to fruition is another matter though LOL
Hi Andy. Yeah I think that we all have those thoughts. I told you about my Red Ball Route idea. Well I am getting there one vehicle at a time. I,started on the staff car now. But the diorama will need to be planned before I start cutting wood. But I am always keeping an eye on building skips to see if there is any timber in there that might work. And its free 😀bonus. Good luck bud.
@@TheNoviceModeller Hi Andy. The staff car. Is it the Ace models Plymouth 1942 model ? From what I can see so far its not that bad. I have had to blank off the rear wheel arch's on the inside orherwise you can see right through it and I will have to put on some mirrors. Also you have to make your own windows from acetate but they do give you templates in the instructions. You also have to put a small strip of plastic down the middle of the windshield. Avoid fogging the glass. So let me know what one you have. Cheers bud.
I bought that W.O.T. 6 truck at one of my Canadian Hobby places, to get the ICM kit would cost me $99, to get the same kit in the Revell Germany box cost $50 so I bought the Revell one. I don't know if you are into large kits or not, but Revell Germany has a 1/9 scale kit of a Kubelwagon for $430. If I go to Italeri route the SAME kit cost $189. That's quite a difference in price.
Have heard about the Revell re-boxing of ICM kits and the price differences, have looked at a few comparisons when searching on ebay and agree that the price is less, however and i forget which kit it was that i bought but i ended up going for ICM even though Revell was cheaper as the Revell kit didn't come with the accessory pack, i think in this case the difference was only a few quid so i opted for the ICM over the Revell, not saying this is always the case, just what i found on the kit i was after.
LOL i'm watching the sales updates on ebay he has sold 5 since the vid went up, between 4 june and 3rd july he sold 3 to me, i may have to ask for a % commission LOL.
BUILD THE OLD REVELL ITALERI VERSION YEARS AGO.IT'S NOT AS COMPLICATED AS THIS ONE. HAVE FUN WHEN YOU BUILDING THIS ONE,REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TO SAVE ALL THE EXTRA PARTS FOR ANY FUTURE KIT BASHING YOU DO.TAKE CARE.
Good tip about ebay, good kit from icm aswell.

Hmmm Royal Navy, now thats an interesting thought, i was going to do some of the 6's as 8th Army, but now...........good luck with your diorama.
Mine should be arriving today. A steal at the price!

I'm so glad I've watched this ( 12 days after release ), that is a great price, and can confirm they still have plenty. Cheers for the review.
