They removed the Zipline-Superjump. It only exists a bit in the direction of the Zipline Slope now. We can only hope this was a hotfix and they reconsider the clamp speed approach i suggested for the full release. twitter.com/reachthefinals/status/1635583430464348160?s=20

I don't know why people get so mad at being killed by someone better than you. Don't get mad at the enemy, get mad at the matchmaking if they're that much better than you. And if you enjoy stomping on people, then you don't get to complain when someone stomps on you.

To Finals devs, I'd say leave things as they are. Apex became rejuvenated by tap strafing and other unintended movement techs, some of the best things were made on accident, don't make your game bland, allow some discovery.
i mean rn there's truly some utterly game breaking stuff in there. They should rain in the most extreme 5-10% of cases at least.

Not sure if it is a bug or intended, patched or still available, but evasive dash into a jump pad adds quite a bit of distance

Yoo, I would love to continue seeing mokey branch out to other movement games and talk about movement tech in other games. I can imagine there are some other wacky movement based games out there with the wildest movement tech in them.

When throwing and object it adds whatever momentum you currently have. So of you throw something mid dash it gains pretty good distance on command

I haven't gotten access to the beta myself yet but from the gameplay that I saw I had a feeling that there was some nice movement tech in the game. I was actually hoping that you'd make this video because I saw your comment on the trailer.
I like the motion tracked editing, adds a lot at least for me.
This genuinely looks like so much fun and I really hope the devs are willing to pull a rocket riding move from fortnite and keep some of this stuff in just because it's fun
It’s little things like this that turn a game from titanfall to fortnite in terms of player base
Watching the movement tricks in this game feels so familiar for me as an Apex player, like in 2:38 it's almost the same we do in Apex to avoid getting shot in ziplines, and in 8:19 it's basically a superglide.
I hope 90% of this stays long term. This game will be seriously the best game if so

7:26 I think they are using the vertical zipline superjump to get the extra velocity and distance combined with the jump pad and the grapple.
this was a sick video im loving the game so much i use the dash mainly and if you dash into a jump pad it will send you flyingggg i thought it would be in this vid honestly
The clip with Jays at 7:08 he actually uses the zip line boost to hit the jump pad and gain more momentum.
As soon as I saw the grapple I knew this was coming.

I can imagine that the jump delay is an animation thing (for realism I guess) where you character is bending there knees before jumping
a friend of mine showed this game to me. this looks super fun to play with friends.
also the prop surfing from the ground feels like the supergliding in this game lol
Prop surfing is like jumping on Raze's satchels but on steroids, since you can use anything in throwable in the game lol
from apex to the finals. the only place to get movment tech
